No Jet game today, 1pm game was the Jints/ Raiders. I am so glad that Verizon has the Red Zone. If not, I would have gone out all day. No way I could sit through the Jint game. What a great concept and each week they tweak it and gets better. THe 1pm games on paper sucked but their was some great endings, loved the Bengals and Boys games, got to see that plus I am in a weekly pool so its makes it so much fun to follow. $49 for the whole season. Normally, I have the 55 inch on the local game and the red zone on the 32 inch LCD but today the red zone on the big tv and the Red sucks on the LCD. Sweet, what a day. Glad the Yanks won today, just foucs on the Jets.

Yeah, I watched redzone today, for the first time. It's great for a shitty slate of 1 o'clocks like there was this week.

...wrong forum, though. Nice try sandwiching it in between Jets sentiments...

Yes, having DirecTV I've had the redzone channel for years. It's great when the Jets play at 4 or anytime after.

Don't you have to subscribe to Sunday Ticket?

    No, no, no, no.....

I have comcast, Sunday ticket only comes with direct tv. NFL redzone is an NFL network side channel that only goes on sundays during the games.

Not sure you can get just RedZone with DTV. What I've read says its only available a' la carte to Comcast subscribers.

What I want to know is why you would ever pay for DTV without Sunday Ticket when you can get a broadband package for less? Unless you live in a rural area or are still under contract, it's a bad deal.

I think this is correct, I asked about just getting the Redzone channel and they mercilessly pimped the SuperFan package to me.

I got it for frre from 1pm to 4pm last week. This week, on Verizon, I was ready to buy it for the season at 49 bucks... but there it was again, for free all day. Better than getting stuck watching the Giants for sure.

I have comcast and you cant get it a' la carte.

I have the sports package which is only an extra $5 a month. It comes with Fox Soccer Channel, Gol TV, ESPN Classic, NBA TV, NHL Network, MLB Network, 5 different college football networks, and a few more channels.

This year NFL redzone was added to the sports package, I never made a phone call. But my father added the sports package last week for $5 a month for one reason and that was for NFL redzone.
