Great game. Your team is going places this year. I hope you guys stay healthy and I hope for a rematch come February.
The Jets offense looked terrible today. We still cannot convert on 3rd down and our receivers (Stuckey mostly) dropped critical passes. If this continues, we will NOT beat Miami next week. If the team that played the first 3 weeks shows up, we will win. However, to call next week a lock is ridiculous. I don't want to even hear excuses for today. We had PLENTY of 3rd and shorts around the 50 yard line and couldn't convert. Our offensive line (especially D'brick) looked awful. I'm not usually a darksider, but we will not beat anybody if we continue to play like this. I think we will get better and play like we did in the beginning of the season, but that is no guarentee. Our team looked lost out on the field today. On another note, the defense was solid, but the stupid penalties need to stop
NO beat us. they are the better team. They are a top 3 team in the nfl their d was excellent. the loss still hurts, every loss hurt especially when u had so many chances, but take a step back and just ask ur self if at the beginning of the season someone told u we'd be 3-1 heading into the softer part of our schedule would u take it, I know I would.
We held the best passing team in the NFL to 190 yards passing. We held the best offensive team to 10 offensive points. Our QB had a rookie game in a tough environment with no playcalling support. We tried to beat the blitz with quick passes out of shotgun. We know they are going to blitz and we don't have any backs in to help block. This was good for Sanchez so he will now see what playing in NY is like when you don't perform. He will get his nuts cut off, and we will see how he handles the critism when we play the fins next week. Schotty, WTF.
What game were you watching? His completely whiffed on the Sanchez fumble and gave N.O. a TD and he also missed several other blocks that caused pressures/sacks
Whether they're the best or not is semantics, I think you all get the point of his post. End of the day they're definitely top 3. If you're gonna lose a game this is the one to lose. It's disappointing HOW they lost the game but hey... an L is an L. Let's just curb stomp Miami next week and forget any of this ever happened.
EXACTLY!!!!! It took Drew Brees and Peyton Manning 100's of games to get to the skill level they are at today...and they learned by having some awful games.
i should change my statement to he wasnt the worst offensive lineman we had, the whole oline was garbage. The sanchez's fumble is sanchez's fault he should've got rid of the ball he held it way too. I just think the right side was worst than the left side but has a whole they all sucked
You definitely lost to one of the best teams in the NFL. We'll find out if the Saints are the best in the NFC in two weeks when they play the Giants. Kudos to your defense. They were better than advertised. Revis is unbelievable. What I like about my Saints, though, is we drove the ball for 7 when we needed to in order to put the game away. We're a complete team--we can run as well as throw, and we have a very opportunistic defense. Sharper is having a probowl year. ST aren't too shabby either. Good luck against the Pats. Don't like 'em, personally. Cheating Chowds. Geaux Saints!
