Wow - we have fuckn' geniuses posting on this board. I had NEVER though to blame Sanchez for this loss. Holy shit. What a mind fuck of an observation.
Yeah, and when you go for a quarter and a half without attemping a pass play over 2 yards downfield it's even easier to defend those completely ineffectual runs. The playcalling was smart and kept the Saints on their heels at the start of the game, and they totally abandoned that after they got down and kept the defense on the field for the entire 2nd half.
What do you expect from a rookie QB? This is why most rookie QB's never see the field during the Regular season.
Oh my god, Sanchez is terrified of the blitz, absolutely fuckin terrified. Thats too bad he better get used to it quick. Like really throw the ball away dont try to be a fucking hero. Our baby boy is growing up is guess.
If there was a game to lose, this was the one. They're still in great shape at 3-1. Sanchez' INTs aren't too scary, it's the fackin' fumble that's troubling. Anyway, it sucks to lose, but the duide is a rookie, and the Saints D is pretty stout. Fuck it.
Yes he is. Can you blame the play calling? Sanchez was sacked and hurried how many times? He was clearly rattled, and the coaching staff didnt believe in him. Not sure why Leon wasn't in the game down the stretch tho, he might have broke some of those tackles.
We are still 3-1. Dolphins are gonna play a pissed of Jets team things are still looking good for us.
All the experts had us at 0-4 at this point. We're 3-1 and our QB played like absolute dogshit...for one game. This means nothing. Next week, we see what this week really meant. Does he come back and play great or is he broken? I'm thinking he comes out next week and plays like he has the previous 3 weeks.
Not to mention our D is missing 3 starters and held an O that's averaged 40ppg to 10 god damn points. If that's not a bright spot, then nothing is.
Seriously. Sanchez is obviously the easy target after the game he had, but not only is he a rookie, he's a rookie with absolutely no running game and 1 WR and 1 TE as options that are actually NFL caliber players.
