In no way am I looking past the Saints. In fact, I have begun prepping myself for the road loss. But, looking ahead at the schedule has me pumped. at Maimi Buffalo at Oakland Miami Jax at NE Carolina Buffalo TB ATL at Indy Cin The last 3 games could be brutal, but the middle looks pretty soft.
Absolutely. Oakland is always a trap game, but I'd love to think we learned something from last year and will go in there ready to destroy the black and silver. I'd love to go into those last 3 games with 3 or fewer losses. That stretch would be instrumental in getting us playoff ready, and could in fact be a benefit coming at the end of the season.
wow. That is a super soft schedule. Im not gonna proclaim the Jets can win 12 or 13 games, but its damn near possible if they play up to their abilities the entire season....
I am too. I have to make an excuse every year on why Im not going to the game. Death is not on my short list....
i dunno, i hate to get in that game.........those Miami games you know won't be gimme's. The Jets always lay eggs in Oakland, no matter how bad the Raiders suck. The Pats, obvioulsy a toss-up......I'll stick to going week to week. Given the 3-0 start, they should at least be shooting for 6-2 into the bye.
Hey, I got to see 5 games in 4 years while I was in college because of that. Granted, we lost almost every one.
Don't worry. I get it. Things got a lot worse for Jets fans there after we beat them to end the 2001 season, too. I had very few threats before that game.
This year just goes to show you that preseason strength of schedule rankings are a load of bull-pucky. We're 3 games into what we thought was the 'strong' part of the schedule and are undefeated. People were looking at the Bengals as an easy win and they will probably be one of the toughest teams we face this year if things continue the way they look they will. And I bet we end up losing a game or two in what we were looking at as the 'weak' part of the schedule.
Oakland couldn't stop the run last year to save their lives, same with KC, and stupid-ass Mangini had us throwing the ball like crazy against them. It doesn't appear that Rex is stupid enough to attack the strengths of our opponents. I think we're going to destroy the Raiders.
