That's my thought, too, especially since we went 12-4 and to the AFC Championship game the first year we switched back to our Super Bowl look. But I wouldn't be against the Sack Exchange look for a throwback game, certainly better than the Titans unis. We've seen enough of those now, no more. You can't even see the numbers on them. I sit 20 rows from the field and didn't know who got the Eric Smith interception until I got home and watched my recording of the game.
Fisher had to feel old, when he took the job they were the Houston Oilers, now he's wearing their throwbacks. I'm pretty sure his first win was against us with Houston at the end of 1994.
Hahahahaha! Very true. Fisher looked like a bum in that sweatshirt - seemed like it was a few sizes too big too. Anyhow, screw the damn Titans unis. I'm so tired of having to watch the Jets in those colors. At this point I'd like them to redesign the unis entirely for the Jets, but whatever they do, just please go back to the green and white and stop with the nonsense.
There's two versions of these they could use, too. From 1978-89 it was just green and white, 1990-97 they added black trim and facemasks. Personally I like the earlier ones better, the teams were better and I didn't like the whole black trend with uniforms. Still don't.
I love the current jets uniforms and I love the NY Titans throwbacks. I don't like the 80's style uniform, because it makes me think of how bad we sucked most of those years.
The 80s were good for the most part. A couple bad years mixed in but 1981-88 we were consistently good.
yeah those green uni's posted above were really the 90's uniforms , up until 98.......I do like the 80s' uni's from the freeman McNeil. Mud bowl days......the simple green and white with the green helment......but love their current uni's, amongst the best in the league (as ar the other "classic " uni's..Giants, Colts, Steelers, Raiders, Chiefs etc).the Titans shit is weak, although the white looks better
I love em both, I can't wait for the white ones-\ I ordered a customized authentic Titan white Keller Jersey, I hope he's here for a longtime. I thought I was cursed with Authentic because every time I got one the player was gone. Murrell, Moore, but the streak was broken years ago so I have a good feeling. They also always win in the Titans uni.
