Yeah, that should be the priority right now. Goodell needs to intervene and seize control of that franchise. Then again, this is pretty entertaining to see.
this isn't shocking anymore. Its boring to see this team shit on itself. the gayest cult in sports is the oakland raiders.
All this does is make me actually like Gannon when I never did before. "Waaaaaaahhhh!!!! Someone doesn't like our team, let's not let them near us, waaaaaahhhh!!!"
Geez good ole Al is losing his marbles if he thinks he can dictate who announces his games. Just when you think you can't laugh any harder at his delusions, he comes up with this.
Considering the last time they were actually good was when he was the QB, they might actually want to heed his advice a little. Then again this is the Raiders.
Are you calling jeaux no one? This is just comical that they're trying to ban announcers who have criticized the team.
Raiders relent and will allow Gannon at facility Posted Sep 26, 2009 7:09 AM By JOSH DUBOW http://www.fanhouse.com/news/nfl/raiders-relent-and-will-allow-gannon-at/688426 ALAMEDA, Calif. -The Oakland Raiders have backed off a demand made to CBS that quarterback-turned-announcer Rich Gannon be banned from the team's facility for production meetings before Sunday's broadcast. The Raiders initially told the network that Gannon was not welcome at production meetings for Sunday's game against Denver because of constant criticism of the organization in recent years. Senior executive John Herrera said later Friday that "because of league rules, we have relented." Gannon was the NFL's MVP in 2002 for the Raiders, leading them to the Super Bowl. He threw five interceptions in a 48-21 loss to Tampa Bay. This is Gannon's fifth season as an announcer with CBS. The story was first reported by the San Francisco Chronicle.
