Whoa, whoa, whoa. Could we back off the love for this thread a bit, please? I mean, it's good now, but we all know it could instantly start to suck at any minute.
Great point. Just think to yourself that it sucks now. Then, when it starts to suck, you won't feel bad since you knew all along.
You are reading into this too deeply. I just got tired of the "don't get too excited" threads on here today.
I think we should feel happy about the fact that we're almost 1/4 of the way through the season without a lost and after next week we'll have some of the toughest games out of the way....but this is a hard season schedule-wise all the way to week 16. Sanchez still looks great IMO, and they opened up the playbook a bit today. Keeping the ball low when he fumbled was a rookie mistake. Today I saw that you don't need to sack the QB in order to be effective, but I would still like us to get there more often, because your DBs will not cover perfectly 40 times per game. The running game is still a mystery. is it struggling because teams are forcing Sanchez to beat them, or because we're not a good run-blocking team? I though that when the run was struggling today, some short passes to the RBs might have helped at least get the ball in their hands. I want to see Shonn Greene play.
