I saw we ban Alio for the rest of the season. Delete his account and make him start all over again as a Bench Warmer once the Jets next season starts. U know? After the win the Super Bowl and all.

Fair point; but no team is ever really "whole." For example, I'm sure Ryan could have had even more fun with the blitzes if his best pass-rusher, Calvin Pace, wasn't suspended.

We shouldn't do this anymore. 6-2......5-3...home...away...split the next two, etc etc.

Instead, write down Tennessee on a piece of paper and draw a circle around it...like Rex does.

I just want my JETS to be 3-0.

    That's it for right now.

You always have to remeber "any given Sunday". I guessed us a 500 team this year before and after Sanchez. I will probably still only safely guess 10 tops. Do i hope we win 12? Hell yes. It is a tought road ahead. We are about to face a Titan team that needs a victory badly. they will pullout all the stops to take us down. Sanchez is still riding on cloud 9, there is always that chance of a let down. I would like to think though, that he will stay up for this game. He is a smart guy that will ride his wave as long as he can. We should all expect the first loss to come in the next 3 weeks. Lets hope it s not against the Dolphags.

True, but I think Tennessee will be a better game for us than the Saints. The Titans have very good weapons in the backfield in Johnson and White, but limited weapons everywhere else. We can put speed at the edges and plug up the middle and allow Revis to bottle up Gage. That leaves Sheppard on Britt, with Rhodes and Leonhard assisting, blitzing, covering Scaife, and helping in run support. The Titans pass defense has been largely exposed this season. Without Haynesworth as that force up the middle, they haven't been getting enough pressure to allow Finnegan and company to remain successful. We should win this game barring big mistakes from the rookie and/or some big breakdowns on defense.

The Saints, on the other hand, are impossible to control. You just try to contain the damage. We'll give up points, and I'm not sure our offense will be able to keep up. That game worries me more than any other.

I'm not going to predict 7 - 1 just because I think it's awfully tough to win 3 division games in a 4 game stretch, and because we can NEVER guarantee a win in Oakland. It's a possibility, but not a great one IMO. Still, I'd be VERY happy with 6-2 or 5-3 heading into the 2nd half of our season.

I've always been a fatal realist. You brace for the worst and hope for the best with our Jets. What else do you expect from a Jets lifer seeing almost every 'you can't make it up' scenario there is? So, I think that's fair, not negative.

I was thinking 6-10 on the season, but again, not in a negative way. My entire mindset is 'just show me something'. Well, that's always been my general mindset; and opening day vs. the Texans, the Jets, lo and behold, showed me something. They showed me something on Sunday, too, and the fact that they're both wins, I'm twice as happy.

I used to pick the Jets season as 14-0, 12-4, 13-3, etc. as a kid for kicks just to salve the pain I knew was coming. A world of pain. Those 'predictions' were also followed by HAHAHAHA in the same breath. I'm not laughing in the same way today.

Sanchez! C'mon. This is not only great, it's surreal.

I would just like to say I was wrong too. I predicted an 11-5 season, wtf was I thinking expecting the Jets to lose 5 games?

I was expecting growing pains, along the lines of 2-3 through the first 5 games. I fully expected this team to end up around 7-9 or 8-8 if we had a few breaks go our way. I'm not saying I expect anything greater than 8-8 now, but I would not be surprised one bit.

    Alio, you are no fool.

I will go on record as saying that the Jets will no lose another game this season. They may get beaten and have a game taken from them, but they will not lose the game. :metal:

With my green colored glasses on I had the Jets at 12-4. Even with that prediction I expected them to lose a couple early. We just won what I expected to be 2 of our toughest games of the year. No wonder everyone is so excited.

Ten isn't going to be easy, but I think after weeks 1 and 2 now gone, pretty much every game seems winnable.

Did anyone else get the feeling watching some of the late games Sunday and the game last night thinking to themselves "If that was the jets, no way would that have happened?"

Like last night I thought to myself "If it was the jets, Peyton would have had half the time he had sitting in the pocket" or "if that was the jets Chad would be on his back right now"

I havn't viewed football in this way in a long time (actually never witht he jets)

    It feels good.

I'm even more darksider than you as I felt 0-5 was a realistic possibility. I'm not worried about Miami as Ryan shut them down last year and he knows how to rattle Pennington. As far as last years game it was clear the team quit but yes we've owned them for a very long time now.

I don't wanna get ahead of myself but I see the Jets and Ravens being the 2 best teams in the AFC right now but every team has their kryptonite but hopefully we don't find out what it is till next year.

BTW the Same Old Jets would have found a way to let Brady go down the field and tie that game and then go to OT just like last year. Last year was the SOJ in disguise but that seems to have been sent packing with Mangini.

I feel the exact same way as you, Alio. I'm trying to stop myself from reading so many articles about Ryan and the Jets because I'm getting giddy.

Hearing that Ryan installed a completely new scheme for the New England game made me really happy....he refused to let himself get one-upped by hoodie. Even if we lost, it's good to know that we have a coach that's always gonna have his team go down swinging

After being overly optimistic for years, I was expecting 7-8 wins this year with a rookie qb and a new coach. The play of this team has given me new optimism, this team is definitely capable of winning this division with 11+ wins. I couldn't be happier with the team's play, it's fun watching the jets again.

We couldn't be in a better situation right now considering what this team is made of.

Let's not size them for rings after two games. They are the Jets after all. There are sooooo many things that can still go wrong - I won't mention any but they are out there . . . lurking. Perhaps we should just savor each game and not get ahead of ourselves.

Except we won in OT last year so that was anything but the SOJs.
