I think the last time it happened was 10/14/84. Jets beat the Browns in Cleveland 24-20. I don't know what the Giants did.
I actually flipped over a few times, and was surprised at how many people seemed to be in the stands. I don't have an official figure, but it looked to be well over 50% of capacity, so I would put it at the mid-to-high 20s at least. Earlier in the week there were clearly fewer than 20,000 people at a game I glanced at. The funny thing to me was that Gary Cohen kept providing updates on the Jets game (I heard them because he would do it right after a score, and that would be when I would flip over before the ensuing kickoff). Did he really think that there was anyone who cared about the Jets who was choosing to watch the Mets instead and would be excited to hear the updated score? Well, actually, there was one person doing that, but it happened to be him (and I'm not sure he actually chose to do it).
