    It's not his fault....

No Shtick at all, I honestly think this guy is spoiled - For so long he had so many calls go his way why wouldn't he expect things to go his way.....

I thought a few regular "Pats" calls last week didn't go their way....

    Hope it continues....

Exactly and right now with Brady coming back from injury and clearly not up to stuff Sanchez outright outplayed him.

I just find it amusing that someone with such a poor grasp of the English language would criticize the reading ability of the people on this board. Perhaps you should turn that critical eye inward.

I never said I couldn't read it. You said that people couldn't read your posts. I was merely explaining why that might be true for some people.

    ...

You'll take your RBs over Thomas Jones and Leon Washington? That's absolutely hilarious. I realize you didn't have any credibility to begin with, but that asinine little statement just sends you into the negatives.

I can foretell the future. I predict that you'll try to order a taco at the dry cleaners today and will mistakenly wander into the women's restroom at least 7 times.

For sure that can be said for the 2nd half. I think Schotty had Sanchez on a tight leash the 1st half.

But be that as it may, Brady truly looked like an average QB yesterday. No mobility and pretty much relying on the pocket. And without the Weasel to pass to and Moss being covered like flies on shit and then all the pressure, he really was not on (in the 2nd half in particular) at all. He seemed to be getting into a rythm in the 1st half, but that totally disappeared in the 2nd half as Ryan ordered his troops to step up their non-stop barrage of interrupting His Majesty's timing.

Sanchez lit it up in the 2nd half though... what a game for him!

There are a few significant things that people are taking out of this game. We're not suggesting we're Super Bowl bound by any means, but there are things to be excited about:

    1) We have a coaching staff that can make the kinds of halftime adjustments that used to kill us.

    2) We can back up all of the jawing that was going on this week. In other words, the swagger that Ryan has brought to this team isn't simply empty rhetoric, and we don't back down from it in the face of adversity.

    3) The Patriots clearly aren't right. They will certainly improve through the season, and they may very well be the best team in the division at the end of the season. For the time being, however, they're incredibly vulnerable and are not playing well. That could change in one week, or it could last all season.

    4) We've exceeded expectations for the opening two games in every facet. The defense hasn't allowed a single TD, and is averaging 4.5 points against in the face of two of the best offenses in the NFL.

It's not just the game we're excited about, it's how this team is coming together.

I really think Ryan wanted to give Sanchez a chance to see what the Pats were going to throw at him before he asked him to truly lead the offense. The defense kept us in it, and Beli failed to make any changes at halftime. We've got a QB who is a quick learner, and by the 2nd half, he was able to exploit what he was seeing.

Agreed, although I don't think Welker's absence had nearly the effect I anticipated. You can't expect much more than the 8 catches for 98 yards that Edelman brought in his absence. It could have been more than 100 yards, and a TD, if Brady hadn't overthrown him on that crossing route deep in the red zone, too.

you played like crap? no you played like complete and total shit and that's because we outplayed you. Just accept the fact that you guys can't handle our outstanding performance and that you were shown to be as bad as everyone knows you really are, guess the officials finally got over the taste of brady's cock in their mouth

I'll give you three out of four. I think the jury is still out on #1. So far so good, but keep in mind this is a new staff and eventually other coaches figure you out.

Either way it was a good win. Of course, if the Jets lose this weekend I'll probably come back here and find plenty of "fire Ryan!" threads.

I actually agree with this. I cringe whenever I think of all the Mangenius stuff from 3 years ago.

Fair enough. You'll have to forgive us, though. We're not used to any of our head coaches EVER making those adjustments. Even to see it in a single game is a massive improvement. As sad as that may sound, it's true.

Argh. Our Achilles Heel. I really can't argue with that. We have some truly frustrating threads sometimes.

How bout that? A Pats fan that isn't a total dueche, we have a few here. It's a nice change from the Grogans and Dannyboys of the world.

Your last point is a homerun... while it may not happen next week should this team lose 5 straight division games my guess is you'll see them all over the place. While I don't think that's gonna happen I also didn't think the Jets would lose 5 straight to end last season especially with Miami, San Fran and Seattle in that mix.

That is one thing we can agree on.

Chad can be their mascot as well as QB, they both have no arm, or arms.

i guess they've gotten so used to games being fixed for them that they have trouble with fair games. all this fairness the patsies have been forced into recently has sure hurt their winning percentage. :metal:
