He was hurting us all game. I guess "hurting" is relative but he was the only receiver doing anything. He did a great Welker imitation, a ton of catches for very few yards.

Edelman in his 1 game against us had 8 recs for 98 yds(12.3 avg.) which was better than all but one of Welkers games against us. Welkers per game averages againsy us: 5 recs, 56 yds, .17 TDs
How many of those receptions were converting key 3rd downs? I think that's what Plinko was getting at. He's Mr. 3rd down for that team, and always seemed to come up with the ball at the wrong time for us.
Welker with Miami is different than Welker with NE. The only sub par game he played as a Patriots was a game played in freezing rain. He is very tough against us especially on 3rd downs.
scratch those miami games...different team, different player.... the NE system is tailored to him and he to the system....you can basically pencil him OR his back up in for 8 catches, 80 yards and a couple key 3rd downs. jil
