Week five he will be back and it makes me more excited then ever!!!! Our defense is looking out of control Pace was looking hot int the preseason we are going to be unstoppable. Anyone else excited for his return?
Zero touchdowns against two of the top five offenses in the NFL without Pace... it's going to be crazy when he gets back!
3 of the Top 5 Offenses in the first 4 weeks (NE, Hou, NO). If we can't annoint them the best D in the NFL by week 5, with the same production against NO of course, then I don't know what the fuck they'll have to do to prove it.
Saints are gonna be tough. We should be able to score on them, but how many points can we hold them to?
what are the chances of pace coming back, being rusty, and actually slowing our defense down? it's amazing to think about what we've done without pace. with calvin in there playing up to his full ability, i can't see how we wouldn't be a top 5 defense.

thats the million dollar question imo. I mean what are they averaging after two weeks 46.5 points per game? Now I realize that NO wont do that all year, but jesus, there is no way our offense can put up 45 this season. To be honest I expect our game plan to be very similar to todays. blitz the hell out of brees and get in his head early!! to be honest I worry about tennessee, because they are a run first team, and so far we havent seen great success against a team that will stay comitted to the run unless we get up 30 early... Our best asset as a defense, the ability to screw with a qb's head pre snap, won't be able to be utilized as often next week. That said all we have to do is contain chris Johnson and we are golden. I don't think anyone is afraid of lendale white anyways...
Not taking anything away from them, but they haven't played a defense like ours yet. Man, it feels good to be able to say that...
Watch how Jets dismantled Tennessee last year - Rex will be able to concoct a lot of funny stuff from that.
I said it before we are the ropeadope defense. In the begining the other team seems to move the ball fairly well then all of a sudden they are shut down. Once sanchez comes into his own and the oline can run block for godsake our defense can cruise and allow 20 points and we can still win no problem.
Now is Pace allowed to practice with the team during his suspension? It makes a difference if he doesn't practice, but I'm sure he will be fine. Our defense will be even better when he returns.
