I don't think comparing receivers to other receivers really matters much. If you're going positional vs. position it should be more like "pats receivers vs. jets secondary" etc. Keep up on that thoughtful analysis.

Jets have Jones, Washington and Shonn Greene. Patriots have an inconsistent Maroney and Fred Taylor is like 107 years old. Vince Wilfork is NOT better than Kris Jenkins. Not even close. Even with Mayo in, both Bart Scott and David Harris, individually, are better than Mayo.
Not even close? Really? I mean, I'd take Jenx personally, but I think there's at least a potential debate there. Everyone watches the Texans center gif and they forget about Denver, San Fran, Seattle... Crown Jenx when he's tossing linemen in January.
I don't really feel as if there's a debate. Not to say Wilfork isn't good, I just think its not debatable as to who is better. Mind you, in the Denver, SF and Seattle games, Jenkins was getting double, and often triple teamed.
In addition to Maroney and Taylor they have Sammy Morris who was their best runner at the end of the year. I like Morris more than Maroney or Taylor. Don't forget Kevin Faulk who is an awesome 3rd down back. He picks up most of the important yardage.
Thomas Jones is better than any of their running backs Leon Washington is better than any of their running backs Where's the debate?
Leon? Yes. Jones? No. Sorry, but I'd take a broken down Fred Taylor over an aging Thomas Jones, but that's just me. Maroney may be fragile but he's damn good, and Faulk quite possibly has the best hands of any back in the league. Throw in Morris and they have quite the stable of running backs. Are any of them Leon? No, but there aren't many backs in the league that are.
just feel like thomas jones is more consistent and durable than taylor now and a better in between the tackles runner than faulk...when maroneys healthy hes better than jones but he is fragile..
