i think keller goes to town on a depleted LB core, if not its gonna be Mayo at less than 100 percent. and if they want to start doubling keller playaction will allow us to hit cotchery deep or someone else in the flats. if our O-Line can stay the course I think we also think we can open some holes for washington to break a big one. then again the jets will have to show a commitment to the running game for anything to work. I like Sanchez but i dont expect him to be airing it out unless he gets scores early and quick. I think Schotty will be smart enough to know you dont come out against Brady and turn it into a shootout, we just have to set the pace. the main issue will be how many times Sanchez turns it over. last week my response to his INT was "it had to happen sometime". and the Pats even minus 6 starters from last yr are still good at disguising coverages and closing in on the ball. and we can talk all we want but its going to boil down simply to both teams protecting their QB. point in case.
although it was great to see the pats struggle against the inside rush. so i like the idea of jenkins, scott, and harris manning the middle for blitz packages specifically for this game
Keep up with Brady?? You assume your going to score a lot. That's a big assumption, you can tell Brady isn't 100% back just yet. It will be a good game, but I'm thinking of the low scoring kind. It took a miracle for magical Brady to put up 25 on the Bills. I can't wait till this Patriot arrogance idiotic attitude is gone.
This team has an all new attitude, it won't be the same old Jet/Pats matchup and for the first time in a while I am excited not dreading this matchup
Revis shuts down the "Gr8t Whit3 Hope", Sheppard and Rhodes make life a living hell for Moss while a Band of Lunatics proceed to beat Brady into a coma.
Actually it will be a similar hit to the one he put on Leodis McKelvin to force the fumble last night.
I'm more worried about Stuckey slipping in a puddle of Brady's blood while trying to catch a Sanchez bomb in stride.
If you didn't expect Brady to be rusty to start the game then I don't know what to tell you. In the 4th quarter last night, he was 15-for-19 for almost 150 yards and 2 TDs. He was 39-53 passing including 4-5 drops by his receivers. He's not 100% yet but he's still pretty damn good. It won't be low-scoring to say the least. Both defenses will get scored upon. I actually think the Patriots' secondary did very well last night. Owens, Evans, and Parrish were shut down(5 catches for 71 yards combined) with the bulk of the passing attack coming from screen passes. That concerns me because of Leon Washington's ability to be a game-changer in the screen game. But, I think Brady will have a big game next week because he will pick on Lito Sheppard and the other CBs not named Revis. Moss has something to prove this week because Revis dominated him the last time they played last season.
Well..we know the Pats defense will be scored upon.....our defense is yet to have a point scored against them.....
Revis barely covered Moss in the second game last season, he was shadowing Welker mostly until they went to a soft cushion and zone coverage in the second half. Moss was doubled by Ty Law and a safety most of the night. Moss dogged it most of the night, I doubt he really gives a shit about anything but straight cash, homey.
I'm a pass rushing troll destroyer. And your Pats will be "road grated" into dust next week.....hopefully Belicheat will be wearing a diaper, he'll need it.
