So Mark running down the field in joy trying to build chemistry with his WRs is a bad thing?

How does this waste energy considering he is doing runs back and forth at EVERY practice among other grueling tasks.

yes but then afterwards he sits on the bench for 15 minutes...im pretty sure you don't want to tell sanchez to hold in his emotions if he's that type of player because it makes all the players around him better....that has been one of favre's major qualities over the years and sanchez seems to posses the same enthusiasm...

I think this is the kind of stuff Brett Favre does...oops.

Walking to the sideline wastes so much energy, and running out of the tunnel to open games should be banned so they aren't tired before the game even starts.

I bet if Sanchez didn't waste energy throwing the ball he would be better late in the games too....

When Brett Favre does this it makes sports center.

maybe the defense should let up some more 3rd down conv. to keep sanchez fresher.

i think he should stop taking snaps and just have it direct snapped to TJ and then have TJ gracefully hand him the ball...

or maybe after a TD a backup lineman should run on the field and carry Mark down the field to celebrate

It makes me feel good that he can actually move and not be a huge target to get clobbered by linebackers all day long. Seems that Jets fans here always are looking to bitch about something. What would happen if Sanchez went 35/35, 5TDs and 400 yards....Leon AND TJ both run for over 150 yards with 3 TDs each and the D gives up no yards, recovers 4 fumbles and picks off 6 balls. What would you bitch about then?? That it was partly cloudy?? Should be glad we won for fuck sakes. A win is a win.

you hit it on the head...someone needs to tell rex to have his D be less efficient to save sanchez energy late in the game....obviously

this would instantly be spun into a PSL ploy.....and the fans would then bitch about ownership or the fact that the crowd wasn't loud enough...

you might have a point about a 250 pounder couch potato saving that energy, but not our Frenchez. These players are paid to stay fit.

or he could fake injury like the broncos to save time on the clock and be carted down the field only to fall off and celebrate...then resume play...

I can't believe that I have wasted so much time reading the thread and I now find myself posting to it. Sanchez should celebrate and enjoy it. The jets need energy and excitement. I like his energy.

I vote for Gator as "Worst poster of the year"

Let the kid get excited!! I'm sure he has dremed of his first game all his life and NOW it's happening. He's 22 years old, I love his energy and it's getting the team excited too. Better than old man Favre trying to play injured or Pennington's noodle arm.
