Maroney I wasn't big on but with Dillon always hurt it was a good pick. Chad Jackson I beleive was a steal in round two and Dave Thomas the TE from Texas is great in the passing game. He was Vince Youngs main target and I was hoping the Jets would pick him up. Looks like the Pats are retooling their offense.

They made some good picks. You wonder how many TEs a team needs but he's just another potential weapon.

Well you want around 3. One thats a real pass catcher, one thats a real run blocker, and the 3rd is usually for depth and you hope that he can do a both kinda well. So you can combine them right when you run formations with 2 TEs.

They have had a good draft, but the Fins and the Bills haven't done squat. The division isn't looking to improve through the draft.

The Pats draft is quickly getting overrated if some think that Chad Jackson is some type of guaranteed stud. I love him as a prospect, but he's quickly catching too much. The WR class wasn't impressive, and he was still a second rounder, something isn't right there. He could turn out to be great, though, without a doubt. Just didn't have the "deserved hype"... I guess.

But, it's sickening to see Jets fans worry so much about Maroney and Jackson like they are the best thing since sliced bread just because they are sexy, "playmaking" players.

I know the Bills reached a bit on two of their picks but those were still 2 good players and now they've gotten unbelievable value with their 3rd and 4th rounders. I like their draft a lot actually.

Why wouldn't the Pats do something right?

How New England-like to be perfect.

    Bastards.

If by 2nd TE you guys are referring to Mills, he's projected at FB in the NFL.

The other thing that has been going around is that we may use Ben Watson as more of a WR than a TE this season.

But, you know us.... we love our TE's!

The Cardinals have just had an unbelievable draft

    Leinart, Luiti, Pope, and Watson

They got a huge steal with Leinart at 10, got the best guard available with Luiti, Pope fills a big need and was a steal in the 3rd, and Watson fell for whatever reason but has big potential.

Well this year i guess they wanted to beat us with an actual TE instead of throwing 2 TD passes and beat us with their LB Mike Vrabel

Why does everyone think the Pats had a great draft? THEY DIDN'T EVEN ADDRESS THEIR DEFENSE!!!

They found no replacement for McGinnest and found no secondary help.
