I?ve read a lot of stuff about the new Cowboys stadium and how it cost over 1 Billion dollars and how state of the art it is. I was actually really jealous that the new Meadlowlands stadium wasn?t going to be as nice. For some reason I thought that the new Meadowlands stadium was somewhere in the mid-hundred million range, but I just read an estimate that it will cost about 1.7 Billion. That?s a lot more than what I originally thought.

So my question is, which do you think will be the better, nicer stadium, once it?s all completed?

The Cowboys stadium was $1.2 billion which would be the equivalent of roughly $3 billion here in NY Metro. Also don't forget the Cowboys stadium is also a Texas landmark and just as much about the culture of their state as it is the franchise. Here in NY we have too many other things going on let alone other great dynasty sports stadiums i.e. Yankee Stadium.

Yeah, If you were to build the Cowboys new stadium in the Jersey Meadowlands it would probably cost more than $2 billion. I've been inside the new Cowboys stadium, It's immense!! And unbelievably luxurious. It's hard to imagine anything surpassing it.

I'll post pics as soon as my post count is high enough.

The new Texas stadium is ridiculous. Hopefully I'll have the chance to see it in person sometime; from what I can tell it looks much nicer than the new Meadowlands. And, as others have said, it's so much cheaper because building stuff in Texas is practically free.

Meadowlands Stadium, because the Cowboys won't be in it that often.

I'll refrain until the new stadium in the Meadowlands is open. Then we can see where they came up short and blast them about it.

They usually come up short with what they put on the field!

Looking forward to your pics. Is the upper deck in Cowboys stadium as high as it looks in pictures? The people on the field looked tiny in any pic I have seen.

It's quite high, but I was able to see the field very well from my vantage point in the upper deck. I was right on the 50 yard line and "Telemanjaro", as they are calling the gigantic scoreboard, was right in my face. The picture quality of that thing is unbelievable!
