Just how many picks are the Jets planning on drafting and bringing to camp?! Everytime I look up the Jets are drafting.

I figured you would have traded some for future picks. In addition, how many picks do you think they are planning on signing and bringing to camp?! [IMG]

You should hope not. That is too many to sign and you would also be wasting picks if they don't make the team.

I figured you would trade some for next year, so you can stockpile and have more flexiblity.

Not only have we not traded any future picks, we picked up an extra second rounder for next year. Totally opposite of what we've been used to. We had 9 picks, and with this trade we'll now have 10 selections when all is said and done. Unless there's another trade. :breakdance:

My only problem is that they have only acquired a second for next season, but maybe they just really like this draft. Who knows? Hopefully it's not too much zeal.

The Jets did, they got a 2nd rounder from Washington.

You have to sign all of the picks, they might not make the team, but they have to signed I believe, or at the very least you own their rights.

The Jets have 12million left in cap space. There is plenty of money to sign the draft picks. I remember NE did something very similar for 2 years when Belicheck came in. Didn't NE have someting like 13 draft picks one year? I know they traded some, but they ended up with like 9 or 10 draft picks in camp.

It is all good. JETS NEED DEPTH!!! There has been no dpeth on this team on almost every position for 5 years. I say the more the merrier.

It's like someone said a week or so ago: we're going to have to cut a lot of decent guys just to get to a 53-man roster. It's a good problem to have.

You are going to see alot of those Edwards/Bradway projects like Snell, Morley, Brooks, Ridgeway, Washington, getting the axe I think.

Katnick, Missant, and others will be on the Practice Squad. So that is what, 8 players?

So it won't be that bad.

No really only have 2 who play (Graham & Watson) as Fauria went to the Redskins as a FA.

Also, Mills, who we draqfted today, is going to play FB. In addition, there is a lot of talk that Watson is going to play more WR than TE this season.
