The guy has like 3 career INTs. He's 5.9. He was mentioned in a newsday article as speculation that Ryan might grab him because he was on the Ravens. Seriously.....Lito as bad as he's been has much better stats than this guy.
We were looking at him this summer so it wouldn`t surprise me, I would like him to be the 4th with Revis, Sheppard and Lowery, Coleman is brutal so he is sti;ll an upgrade
Over coleman is about the only scenario I can see in bringing this guy in. Hardly impressive stats as a CB.
This could be another case of a coach being enamored with a former player from his old team. The guy's stats aren't stellar but Shepherd's starting job could be in jeopardy.
I just hope Cole sticks with the team... Coleman should be gone by the time Pace and Ellis are back on the team and Strickland hasn't impressed me one bit. I'd keep Revis, Cole, Carroll, Sheppard and Lowery for sure... the 6 guy I don't care if it's Strickland, Ivy or my grandma.
lito sheppard has a little otis smith in him...he looks dreadful most of the time but can come up with the pick six at the right time. personally i think lowery will be the #2 soon enough - unless they keep him on the inside slot guys. jil
Yeah but lito has dropped off recently. Either way I think Sheppard is the starter but that ain't good and even if we get Ivey , he's no answer.
I'll say one thing, if Mangina released him, we should pick him up on principle alone. Not exactly the keenest eye in the NFL, lol.
Ivy wouldnt be a bad guy to bring in. He knows Ryan's defense and is a solid veteran. He's better then Coleman and Cole. I think the Jets will add a veteran DB to the team eventually. I'm worried with how Lito has played. I could see Ivy or even possibly Detha O'Neal be brought in here to help backup.
Ivy knows Ryan's blitz schemes from the side. I think he'd be wanted just for that. He was a nickle-back blitzer in a lot of Baltimore's schemes last year.
