If you look at their depth chart they have Morris, Faulk, F. Taylor and Maroney all listed before Benjarvus Green-ellis... do you think they may cut him? God, I'd love to have him on our team!

PS did you see the play Sam Aiken (88) made? Wow!!! Hoyer played well too...

We have more than enough quality RBs.

Out of Maroney, Faulk, Taylor, Morris and Green-Ellis you will cut one right? I mean, I've never seen a team go into the season with 5 RB's... who would you cut? I have absolutely no idea how the played through this summer... except Benjarvus which I love since last year!

PS I'll go as far as saying that if he gets cut we wasted a pick on Greene (ok, now I'm going to get killed for having said that :p)

Yeah, really..in fact it's even mentioned in the game writeup from last night. Unless you think you are going to keep 5 RBs.

I'm assuming all these superstars were playing against Giants 12th stringers? All I know is that I was out last night, pulled NFL scores up on my phone at around 8:00 last night, and the Patriots were getting murdered. I'm guessing all these guys turned immortal at the half? Neat trick.

The Giants have kept 5 RBs and didn't the Patriots do that last year with Jordan, Faulk, Maroney, Morris, and law-firm?

I wouldn't be surprised. The Pasts have always typically loaded up on a position or two. For a while it was OLBs and TEs. Last season the Pats carried like 6 runningbacks on their roster, and ran a pretty effective RBBC. Well, at least after Maroney got hurt. When Maroney was the starter, their running game suffered.

    Here's to a healthy Laurence Maroney! :)

Wasn't Maroney hurt most of the year? Played in only 3 games I think.

Maroney is always hurt, or at least nicked up. Watch him play one week to the next and you'll see his speed, power, and even running stance change. Durable he ain't!

The greeting Belichik gave him after carrying a couple G-Men into the endzone tells me he will be on the team.

I think they're going with only 3 TE's, which means Watson or Smith will be packing their shit tomorrow... IMO of course

They actually had 5 to start the season last year, and 5 to end the year. Jordan, Faulk, Morris, Maroney (Green-Ellis off PT when he got hurt), Evans

Pats keep 5 RB's on roster and put Chris Taylor on IR. Trade for Giants TE Matthews. Waive Alex Smith. Trade Dave Thomas for 7th rd draft pick.

BJGE will out perform Maroney given the chance. Let's hope Lawrence gets leg cramps in warmup every week.
