He wasn't concurrently sentenced dumbass. and we arent talking about criminal law here. He was sentenced to prison for being a fucking dog torturer. he hass no right whatsoever to play in the NFL the NFL didn't sentence him concurrently. All that the NFL did was decide to reinstate him and allow him to play football which is BULLSHIT because suddenly a guy who made millions and tortured animals is the new media darling - crossing himself and smiling on the sidelines and the entire game coverage devolves into to how this selfish prick played rather than how everybody else on the field played. Fuck Micheal Vick.

And you are stupid fucking moron if you think he deserves to have his ass kissed by the media after drowning and electrocuting dogs. I am all for rehabilitation and paying his debt to society. I am not for Goodell letting this asshole waltz right back into the NFL and make millions. he should have been suspended for a full year.

Maybe people can't get past it because he pleaded guilty to a federal dogfighting conspiracy charge. Duh...

right, so we both agree, then, that its not "for being a fucking dog torturer" even though one can, and clearly does assume htat.

Actually he pled guilty to federal dogfighting conspiracy. As part of that federal plea he admitted to participation in the killing 6 to 8 dogs and financially underwriting gambling on dogfighting. Vick also pled guilty to state charges of dogfighting and cruelty to animals.

The NFL is not a criminal court. THe NFL doesn't impose criminal sentences. The NFL chose to life Vick's suspension almost as soon as he got out of prison in July despite a long history of Vick behaving like a jackass including his positive drug tests while on probation. For whatever reason (money?) Roger Goodell chose to roll over and be lenient with Mike Vick and it has been an atrocious decisions. The message is: Its okay to abuse animals, you still get to play in the NFL and make millions.

Make no mistake - he was a fucking dog torturer. Maybe you know of another phrase to describe somebody who is electrocuting and drowning dogs in his backyard because they didn't fight good enough... I call it being a fucking dog torturer.

There is no truth to the rumor Michael Vick played last night. In fact it was completely impossible for him to play last night. The entire telecast I listened to last night it seemed like Vicks cock was in either Hugh Douglas's or Herm Edwards mouth.

So unless Vick can bend the laws of physics he did not play, that was a body double.

Well I'm proud of the Jet fans last night who gave Vick the reception he deserved every time he took the field... There was certainly no standing O for him... I hope he gets this kind of reaction all season wherever he goes...

Great post. Never underestimate the power of the NFL and ESPN, both of which have a vested interest in keeping star players "stars" so they can increase ratings and revenues, to cover up for guys like Vick and Brady.

Does Tommy B's wedding shootout ring a bell with anyone? Probably not, because it was swept under the rug, just like Ron Mexico's herpes-infested stoner ways.

That being said, Vick has a right to earn a living. He just shouldn't be treated as he's had all these terrible things happen to him. He caused ALL of his own misfortunes. His wife didn't die in a car wreck, his kid didn't get cancer, and he didn't get injured playing football and now has to make a "Comeback." He tortured dogs, and that's why he went to jail and that's why he looked out of shape and out of his element last night.

He has a right to earn a living, but the prick does not have the "right" to play in the NFL. That is not a "right". He should be shoveling dog shit against the tide for a living. Not making millions after a bullshit 2 game suspension.

you all fail to realize that roger goodell makes the rules and whatever the fuck he feels like doing on a given day is what he does. there is no sense to it. it is a dictatorship called the nfl.

as far as i am concerned he missed 2 years. 2 more games was really unnecessary.

Serious...are some of you guys in here vegetarians or what?? Who cares if the man tortures dog. Animals are used for a lot of stuff in our society so why is Vick all of the sudden the bad guy. We all do it.(except for some hippies and screw them) Peyton Manning and Favre shoot animals for fun which is just as "bad" and they never went to jail for that even though it's kinda the same thing. Except dogs suck and the animals Manning and Favre shoot are kinda cool.

So shut up about Vick's "terrible" crimes and let the man play.
