I realize I'm being a little tooooooooooo optimistic, but I really feel this is the year we sweep NE. That is my money prediction for the year.
^Thats insane. I think we'll be lucky to even beat them once with Brady back. I think it'll take this season and the next before we would be in a position to sweep them.

I lean toward beating Jacksonville, losing @ Houston and Tampa Bay, losing to Miami at home, and Cincinnati is always impossible to guess how they'll do. If they're out of it already we stand a good chance to win at home to close the year. I bank on 4 wins, with a possible 2 additional ones. 6 wins tops.

I'm going to predict 11-5 because I'm a Jets fan and what do I have to lose? I don't think this schedule is nearly as hard as everyone seems to suggest. I see a major dropoff from Tennessee and Carolina and think Houston is being completely overrated by everyone on here. Bring it on!

First half of the season we beat the teams we should beat like buffalo and Oakland. The second half Coach and QB have some experience and confidence and we dominate.

Predictions 1. @ Houston --- W (defense keeps this game close by shutting down Slaton and doubling up on Johnson; Sanchez wins game one) 2. NE --- L (we lock down Moss and the rushing attack, but we don't win; Brady to Baker wins the day) 3. Tennessee --- W (for the second year, Jenkins shuts down the rush and Tenn's rookie WRs don't play as well during the regular season) 4. @ New Orleans --- L (toughest game to call this season; without Pace and his QB pressures, Brees beats us) 5. @ Miami --- W (Ryan's blitz happy offense is too much for Pennington; Revis/Rhodes have a big game) 6. Buffalo --- W (the worst in the AFC East...again; Revis shuts down Evens; Jenkins clogs the middle; low scoring win for the defense driven Jets) 7. @ Oakland --- W (closer game than we want, but defense still dominates by shutting down McFad) 8. Miami --- W (same as game one against Miami) 9. Jacksonville --- W (MJD is their only true weapon; Jenkins slows the MJD down while pushing for defensive player of the year; NYJ are hot and Sanchez looks like a game manager at this point, minimizing mistakes) 10. @ New England --- L (we just can't beat Brady this year) 11. Carolina --- L (this is the tough loss of the year; this is the game we say, if only...; somehow, the rushing attack breaks through) 12. @ Buffalo --- L (it seems as if we always split with Buffalo) 13. @ Tampa Bay --- W (good match up; TB's offense can't score) 14. Atlanta --- L (we hold Turner, but our offense struggles; JAbe fights hard against his former team with multiple sacks on Sanchez) 15. @Indianapolis --- L (Manning fights for playoff spot, something he has not had to do in year; he methodically beats us in the air) 16. Cincinnati --- W (how long before Cinn moves to LA?) Final Record: 9-7, Jets just miss the playoffs. To our dismay, the Patsies win the AFC East. But, the tide has turned. The future looks bright. The Jets are one WR and one game-changing DE away from being a true contender.
I'll say 7-9. We need more depth to really take us farther, which we'll address this offseason. Superbowl 2 seasons from now. :metal:
