They are trying to get as much Brady-bating in as they can before Kris Jenkins blows out his other knee in week 2.

two QBs who can't win the big game?

wow, Philly must really want to lose in the worst way possible.

and Philly fans are never nice, so Vick will catch more flack there than he would almost any other team.

    Vick will love it there.

i hope vick does well! i wish him the best and am glad the jets dont have to play a team with him on it twice a year.

espn has become the biggest tool bag television channel of all time. if it wasnt for college football, which they suck at that too but they have a shit ton of games.. would be completely useless to me.

i will not go to the espn website as i know there will be nothing of value there and i dont want to add any hits to their website.

The Jets dropped the ball on not signing this guy and leave Ainge for the practice squad. He came cheap at 1 year $1.6M w/ a 2nd year option for $5.2M.

I disagree. What exactly would he do, replace Sanchez. This team does not need distractions like him, and the NY media would have a field day with this story.

Distraction? The NY media is going to do what they are going to do regardless. The job of management is to get the best players on the field and he would have been a great addition. Besides who is distracting the team up in Cortland and in the secluded Atlantic Health center?

Yeah, so why feed them a gold nugget like mike vick?

he's 31, he's been out of football for 2 years, who knows if he still has that speed or a feel for the game. He could be completely pedestrian.

No one, and that's the way it should be. Rookie HC and QB who are trying to mold a new philosophy and chemistry and you want to drop that bomb into their laps... thats unfair.

Are you kidding? They still have tickets and PSLs to sell. Can you imagine if PETA decides to take a stand what that would have done for that?

Nothing gives me more pleasure than watching someone eat a steak sandwich in front of a mob of PETA terrorists.

Vick is a f*ckin dirtbag. I would have lost a lot of respect for our organization if they had wanted this guy. I'm surprised that any team would actually sign him at this point, but hey, leave it to Philly... geez.
