10:16 ET Jets C Nick Mangold left the field with a trainer. Rob Turner is now with the first unit in that role.
Geeze, it's been 45 minutes since this was tweeted...wish they gave us an update. Of course then again, I need to remember that in the "old days", I wouldn't have even known about this until tomorrow's paper. But that initial report is an alarming tease!
OK, that's it. Put the starters in a secret bunker so they can't get hurt and can't do drugs to get suspended. Food, water, and twitter only (except Clowney- Holla) Release them Week 1. No pre-game workouts. Just release them from a flat-bed truck straight onto the field for the first play.
Ryan's press conference (live now on the Jets webpage): says it's a left knee...nothing significant, but short on details. An earlier report said he had no noticable limp or anything, so this sounds like nothing.
Shit, missed this one from earlier today too. "CB Darrelle Revis, who tweaked a hamstring yesterday, is sitting out the morning practice and working with the conditioning staff. This afternoon, the team will have only a special teams so he will not participate in that either."
THIS JUST IN NOT ALL JETS FANS ROOT FOR THE METS. METS FANS KEEP YOUR GLOOM AND DOOM OUT OF MY FOOTBALL TEAM
The Jets are thin but talented at the moment. Hopefully we'll avoid the injury bug like we have the last few seasons.
Baseball is a bunch of men standing around in one spot for 3 1/2 hours. That's what baseball is. Yawwwwwwwnnnnnnnn!
