Practicing with a very good defense should make our offense better for openeing day, and really test the QB comp winner.

With that offensive line it's not good that we can't get push against a top defense. As much as it's nice to see the defense playing at a top level, I'm a little disappointed to see the Offense struggle in the short yardage.

I'm just happy they were performing well in that situation without big Jenx.

It's unbelievable how every practice is now overanalyzed. we get too much info now.

the only thing I care about is getting to week 1 HEALTHY and both O and D are sharp. I want to get off to a fast start unlike the Herm years and the Mangina years

I'm thinking it is probably just cutting down on Sanchez's reps with the #2s in transition to him getting more reps with the #1s. Maybe warm ups are over and the competition is about to start in earnest....

Yeap, I saw this coming when the beats were tweeting every play of the OTAs. The Age Of The Tweet will have people knee-jerking like they usually only do during the regular season.

My real issue with this is that division rivals now know exactly what players are getting what reps without even having to insert spies into camp. Although I'm sure the Pats still have spies at Cortland.

I was thinking the same thing, but it beats being uninformed like it was pre-internet.

It's definitely a great way for the NFL to get their hooks into us far deeper than they did. :) I'm not really going to complain about it, after the football drought of the offseason.

Being in CT I remember watching Sports Center every night to find out if we signed anyone (during the offseason) and watching every night for their Jets training camp report. Those were the Dark Ages.

It's going to be interesting to see how twitter is used by the players during the season, are we going to see more bold predictions and even trash talking between players. How long beofre Mangini fines a player for tweeting?

It helps kill the day at work, but I still find the blogs and compiled training camp reports more interesting than a compilation of tweets.

I agree. Except for Cimini. Fuck Cimini especially after his handling of the Rhodes story a few months ago.

You are giving me a nervous tic now, Murrell. SportsCenter, NFL2Night/NFL Live - puke. Now I have SNY and NFLN on satellite and I only tune into ESPN when they are covering races. I don't have to spitefully laugh at Stuart Scott's crooked eye anymore.

I actually stood about a foot away from Scott and his crooked eye at a bar here in CT. I love having my DirecTV. I get SNY and CBS 2.

I know u wish well....But Jets don't have a great OL. Don't believe the hype. Besides Mangold....Who really is a top-notch lineman for them ? Brandon Moore is there best run-blocker. Its all hype. Jets didn't sign or draft a beast of a OL ....so there won't be much improvement until maybe next year. Lets stop the dream'n now.
