well it sucks to hear about that, but assuming our offense isn't totally helpless this defense is looking like a turnover machine. i cannot wait to see them in action.
Woody and Tanny shouldn't have anything to do with the decision. Unfortunately that's not the way it works.
Hopefully Kellen can become more consistent and stop throwing towards #24. I'm rooting for both QB's, but I'm worried Dirty won't be ready week 1.
The fight card: 1. Thomas Jones vs. James Ihedigbo. 2. Howard Green vs. Brock Christopher (and a whole lot of others that encircled them and stood around). 3. Ahmad Carroll vs. Nevin McCaskill (with Darrelle Revis sneaking up from behind and taking a shot at McCaskill). Showing his sense of humor, Revis, making like a pro wrestler, jumped on the pile, feigning a pile-driving move. Yep, things are getting feisty in Cortland. 2 minute INTs kill us. I was thinking that Clemens should start the season but I am backing off of it. Turnovers are the worst thing i.e last season.
I'm still of the belief that the D is ahead of the O early in camp. Good to hear Clemens finally looked like a QB out there, even if only for a bit. What I want to hear is Sanchez is turning heads... we'll give it time.
This practice by practice and drill by drill or even pass by pass comparison has got to stop. It's a long way until September 13. This is getting ridiculous. How about the rest of the team? How does the OL look? Is Ferguson bigger this year? How does the DL look? It Pouha getting it done with Jenkins out? Does Ellis look old? How does Keller look? Stuckey? I hear Wright and Sanchez are developing a rapport (remember that this is how the Pennington-Coles thing started). Can we hear about that? How does Harris look? Rhodes? Thomas? Gholston? Are we hear about are the QBs. It's becoming a joke. Soon the bloggers will let us know who ate a bigger breakfast or went to the bathroom more.
I'm not even into twitter. This QB competition is omnipresent , from this site, to blogs, to the papers, etc.
I hate Cimini but his recent blog entries have been pretty informative regarding the whole team, not just the QB battle I also read somewhere that during a blitz Gholston ran over Mangold so I guess that's technically a sign of improvement
That's good to hear Keller is doing well so far. I was a little worried after he sumbled down the stretch last year.
he did hit the rookie wall, but some of the reports made me think that Mangini may have pushed shoved him into that wall after the SF game. this kid is going to be really special. Our version of Dallas Clark.
