shit...sorry man....can you repeat that? you poked me in the eye with your nipple...when you were flexing you e-muscles....I missed your last post. *puts on safety goggles*
attack you?.....Dude...you're in the wrong forum...nevermind the wrong thread. Fuckin' rednecks.....they don't even know when they're being stupid. Get a clue, Cletus.
back to the topic.... hindsight is coming into focus. Clemens looks bad, and i'm not going to be the one to make any excuses for him. The reason why the FO never had confidence in him his becoming obvious. Can he still turn it all around? Of course he can, this is football. Anything can happen. But the odds are against him and his abilities.
You seem to be the one who's attacking people. Why don't you move your JJ post to the JJ thread in the NFL forum where it belongs and quit hijacking this thread that sould be about the article at the top and our QB's.
my suggestion is to quote me next time so people aren't as confused. And the little quarrel that happened can be avoided next time.
jesus h. christ....STFU. Anyway...back on topic. Clemens chucking up 3 INTs today...isn't going to do him any favors. Sounds like he shot himself in the foot today. He better pick up his game.....or Sanchez will end this competition rather early.
Well, Clemens pulling off days like this while Sanchez is looking OK is a good thing. If the Jets start the rookie its mcuh better for the vets to see him vastly out playing Clemens.
It is not in the best interest of any thread when someone goes off topic, regardless of the topic. Had you quoted NDMick and made it clear exactly why you brought JJ into this discussion, the whole argument could have been avoided.
As much as I would like to see a "Return on Investment" for drafting Clemens.....I wouldn't be surprised if Sanchez wins the job. We heard all offseason of Sanchez's preparation techniques...and his drive to learn the system. It seems like it's paying off dividends already. You make a good point about the Vets on the team needing to bare witness to Sanchez earning the job.....it would be a total testament to his preparation...and the vets need to see this, so they can put their faith in him when his time comes. I wasn't surprised when it came out that the vets preferred Clemens to be the starter.....i'm sure it's out of loyalty. But if Sanchez busts his ass....I'm sure he'll win over the lockeroom.
