I live 15 mins. from Cortland. Kind of grew up there. Don't expect too much. SUNY is surrounded by all types of fast food rest. and hotels. All within a 5 min. drive on normal days. There is a transit service if you need one. SUNY itself is a crappy little school but Ithaca is 30 min. away and Syracuse @40 so for those staying there is stuff to do if you want to drive a bit. Ithaca is beautiful(Cornell Col) and is full of gorges. There is 1 hotel directly across from the stadium. I think it is a Quality or Comfort Inn. It located on RT281 also called West RD. See you there.

For those going the weather will have alot to do with a practice taking place outside or in the bubble if they have a bubble there I am not sure. But one of things I did before heading to hofstra was check the weather report. I life in Point Pleasant NJ and that is a long LONG drive to go sit in the rain let alone have them not practice. Just something to think about. As for the Jets/Giants game they did have a practice game and someone threw a helmet, I am pretty sure that was with Mangini.

Yeah it was too far from me too, until Woody had the fantastic idea of building a world class training facility 5 minutes from my house. For the last 4 years I have been dreaming of spending my summers there watching camp. Until some fat Ogre named Rex comes to town with the dumb idea to move them to Cortland. A$$h0!e

Rex you better bring me a championship for this one....OR ELSE!

Here's another schedule with some events included (store hours, radio shows).

    http://www.newyorkjets.com/camp/schedule

I may have to go on Monday, August 3rd. The Michael Kay Show will be there and, if it is too hot and sunny, I can stand in shade from his head.

Not a big deal, but parking is $5 at Cortland. Free at Hofstra and Atlantic Health.

    9 days away!

Right place right time for me........for once. After loosing jobs in Cleveland I had to move back in with family about 40 minutes south of Cortland. I guess there is one bright spot to this economic down turn, I get more football exposure.

Looking forward to TC and seeing some fellow fans. :jets:

I love it. I hope its a barron dump where there's nothing for the players families and friends to do and they stay away and its hot and humid and the team kills each other and the media and fans just bitch and moan about it for 3 weeks. Exactly what the coach wants, get ready for the daily Cimini complaining, I hope he has to eat Denny's everyday for dinner. F em all, its time to grind it baby instead of working at the nice new place with the familiar surroundings and family. Stay home, wife, babes, friends and the Lupica's of the world. Look at the dump where the Steelers have held camp, yeah, and look at the results. If you go, don't pull a Cimini on us, give us the football perspective, . We know its upstate in east bum fuck, give us the football feel. I love it, the press is gonna bitch the whole time.
