IF YOU CHOOSE VERNON DAVIS, WRITE IN FOR HIM. Who do you want at 4? There is a chance any of the above guys could be there, so if the Saints take Reggie at 2, which player are you going to be hoping falls to 4. I don't want D'Brick, we don't need a LT with holes in his game when there is great RT depth later on. So I would say Leinart, I'm not a supporter of passing up a franchise QB at #4.
It was apparent last year how awful our line was through play and injuries. This affected our skill players more than most realize, therefore o-line is the way to go fellas.
o crap, I'm so stupid, when I was making this I knew there was someone I forgot about, I'll put it up top to write in for Davis.
I would love to Draft A.J. Hawk of OS he will be the best Defensive player in this draft i have no doubts!!
The reason I'm so ecstatic about the Texans going with Mario is that we now will either get Bush, Leinart, or Ferguson even if we dont make a move.
vernon davis without a doubt, he is the freak of the draft, a monster, a playmaker, a stud, an instant NFL star. and maybe croyle in the 3rd round to have someone to toss the ball to him
This Vernon Davis stuff is out of line. Every team that has one of these "stud" Tight Ends (Chargers, Chiefs, Giants) havent done anything. You don't build a team, let alone an offense, around a tight end.
We should NOT waste a first round pick on a QB. We have TWO first round QB picks on our roster as it is, and neither is very good. We can get Croyle in the second round.
The Chargers and Chiefs haven't done anything??? The Chargers weren't a play-off team until Gates. Gonzalez is the ONLY receiver on KC, and they've had the leagues best offense with him. And Shockey is the ONLY saving grace for that overrated Manning girly-boy. Is the TE the end all and be all? No. But it sure as hell makes the offense a contender.
