reggie bush wont take us to a super bowl IMO. We need all those picks in order to fill as many as holes as possible. Solidify the line. I think those who want to trade all our first day picks are just being clouded by reggie's excitement. If i were to get a RB this year, i would want a pure runner like deangelo williams, one that can run between the guards and pound it. I mean look what happened to NO when they traded all their picks for ricky. Trading all their picks for one player is just stupid, especially with the holes that we need to fill.

what part of both 1st and a 3rd is trading away all our picks? we will still have a 2nd rd pick and a 3rd rd pick. i dont see how that deal kills us.

im talking to those ppl who want to trade ALL our first day picks for him (4,29,35,71) I would be very happy if all we trade is our 1st and 3rd pick. That's what im advocating. I'm condemning trading most if not all our first day picks like NO wants and some ppl are posting. Sry if my post was kinda confusing

PS: and who knows Bush could fall to us (NO doesn't seem to want reggie all that much and the Titan desperately need Young) :shit:

You are also right. And to tell you the truth, I am normally a huge proponent of making the O-line a high priority. But, the line is not the difference maker when you compare DET of the 90s and DAL of the 90's. While they did have a stud line, they also had hall of fame QB, RB and Moose on that offense. I only brought up Sanders to say that a running back can be productive w/o a good line - not that the Jets should fashion their franchise after that team.

What's the story on Quinn? And I thought a lot of people were high on Volek. No? He's definitaley outperformed Bollinger in the few chances that either have had to start.

True. Any other FA QB's out there next year?

Who does NO have at RB? Deuce McAllister? who was hurt all last year. and you dont think they would grab Reggie Bush at 2. i will be so pissed off if we dont throw an offer on the table. NO also needs DBrick and would automatically get him if we moved to 2. Tennessee gets a QB, NO gets DBrick. We better at least make an offer, and i hope we dont fold into this years (2) first round picks, our 2nd round pick and next years first.
