Abraham currently is a better pass rusher than a run defender. Williams has a higher ceiling at this point. The draft is all about potential. Williams has been compared to richard seymour. I love john, but he's a speed passrusher. while effective much of the time he doesn't create havoc like someone that can bull rush as well as beat you with speed.
Our mods would either have to not worry about the cursing rules on this board for a day or two or half the board would be banned instantly... including me.
I don't care. I don't watch baseball, basketball, hockey, golf......nothing else. Football! More than that, the JETS. Aside from my kids this team is my passion. Say what you will. I love this team and, sorry to say(not), I could give two shits what fans of other teams go through. Except Patriot fans and now Steeler fans. I want a ring. Whatever it takes.
From what I can gather, Bush was demanding way too much money. Both players will be able to step in and immediately impact the team. Therefore, save money, draft williams and look to strengthen other weaknesses. I don't think the pick was too bad, however I don't want to think about how I'd have reacted to the Jets doing the same thing.
