LOL. I can just picture everyone going "WTF?" when he threw it 500 million yards into the next state.
Dude, you of all people should know that "Testaverde" is Italian for "interception". 1998 was a great season but that's all the bright light there was during his tenure.
I heard he had to stop throwing the javelin because he kept hitting members of the other team with it.
He was good in 2000 and 2001, just not as good. Of course he didn't have Parcells or Keyshawn which the 1998 team had. I know he was erratic at times, but I always felt like we would win when he was in there. After years of the aging O'Brien, Nagle, Esiason, Brister, O'Donnell and Foley, Vinny was a light at the end of the tunnel. Same reason I appreciate what Chad did here, if you've been around even a little while you've seen a lot worse.
I always liked ol' Interceptaverde. He was a good guy and I always felt like we at least had a chance with him on the field. 1998 was a great season. Fuckin' Broncos.......
Don't know if it's been said before but in that pic he looks a lot like Sanchez... and that's not a good thing.
V-V-V-Vinny and the Jets! Vinny Vidi Vici! Haha I miss those days. Vinny gave us some good times. He was certainly a nomad of the NFL, but to me he'll always be a New York Jet. Gotta love good ol' Vinny T!
Big deal - Lamar could throw the Javelin like a mother fucker.
