its an interesting coincidence how the defense became elite ever since Rex arrived in Baltimore.

    I'm just sayin.

Lewis was there for years without the defense doing anything. The defense was already good before Ed Reed showed up. When all the previous defensive coordinators left they did nothing with their new teams. Put it all together and I like the idea that Rex was important from day one. But like I always say, the great thing about sports is eventually you play the game and everyone finds out. So by the end of next season we will know if it really was Rex all along. Will know it from both how the Jets and the Ravens play.

Im willing to give the d a flyer this yr only because of the total lack of depth on the d-line. I expect to see improvement in the passrush and turnovers but I think its to much to ask that this d-line should be able to hold up all yr without any semblance of a rotation.

Devito and pouha, green and the other scrubs on the dl have little to no upside and really just take up space. If douglas, ellis or jenk go down our d will detiorate instantly. How can we expect to dominate on d with no rotation on the line?
