Stop posting links. Start posting articles. We don't come to TGG to go other sites and read news. We come here to read news ON TGG. Do you even have the copy paste function in Denmark?
I think you have bitched about this more than a few times. You can always post part of the article like alngtheway did if it is that important to you. I know it is not really an issue here, since none of the authors of the articles would check here, but posting an entire article by cutting and pasting is actually a copyright violation.
I wouldn't mind clicking links if they were substantive articles. All of Kelly's links are articles that say "Mark Sanchez is a rookie quarterback. Rex Ryan is the new head coach, so the Jets defense will be different than it was last year. The Jets' uniforms are green and white."
to be fair, this time of year it isn't just the articles (s)he posts. i don't really know the history of the OP, as i'm something of a n00b, but there seems to be a running "she's a he" joke, so i'll run with it. i mean, we do have a new franchise rookie qb by the name of Mark Sanchez, and we do have an new coach by the name of Rex Ryan, etc etc... that's pretty much the extent of new news during the offseason.
Kelly, I appreciate you starting new threads with jets information. I guess the unwritten rule is to post the actual article but I do appreciate your work in finding the articles.
And you think that is why she doesn't copy paste? And yeah I have bitched about it cuz she or he is the ONLY that does it on a consistent basis and does it about 3-4 times a day. I guess ur fine with it. But I find it annoying when it happens.
As I said, I don't think it is an issue here and do not think it is the reason she doesn't post it. You also mention that she does it on a consistent basis. And has for many years, do you think it is going to change? I am also curious if some of you are getting PM's from Kelly asking you to meet up or something because you seem so caught up in the she/he thing. Let it go already.

Who cares how she presents information! I find it amazing that a person from Denmark would even have the slightest intrest in the New York Jets. Ill take it anyway I can get it! This is like My wife looking for somthing to bitch at!
This is correct. Posting a link is legal. Cutting and pasting the text of an article without the author and publisher's permission is not. And you're right that this would never turn into an issue on a sport's site unless the site itself was systematically taking content and appropriating it. One really good rule of thumb if you want to paste and cut is to always use the link also and before the paste and cut. That way people have the opportunity to go check out the original if they want to.
