Please God....this team is finally moving in the RIGHT direction.....don't let this happen. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/05/09/pacman-on-jets-radar/ http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2009/05/09/source-jets-interested-in-pacman-jones/
This is true, but I really.. really don't think we need his baggage here. If he can get in all that trouble in Tennessee, just imagine NYC.
They aren't actually pursuing Pacman Jones, they're trying to incur favor with his agent for better deals on other players in the future.
He would be the 4th on the depth chart though.......Behind Revis, Sheppard and Lowery. I do think he would be best behavior though in NYJ but I dont know how much use he would be. We have Leon, Leonard and even Revis for punt returns.
This is a big mistake. I think mangini and tannenbaum put in a bunch of good character guys. This would have the potential to destroy this team!
Because its his last chance of being on an NFL team. That and Rex Ryan is more of a Jeff Fisher esque coach then Wade Phillips who has shown no balls in restraining players. Rex will be friendly with players, but at the same time will have expectations and will have a leash for some guys too.
You forgot Strickland, who I would think to have the edge over Lowery. Almost makes you wonder if Lowery is going to be moved to safety full time. Also, if I see Revis fielding one single punt this season I am going to go apesh*t. Its bad enough that Leon handles so many punts.
This obviously isn't going to happen. We already have a PR and we brought in half a dozen guys to fill our secondary. Pacman can make plays but he isn't a 'shutdown corner' and he definitely isn't worth the gamble.
he most certainly is worth the gamble hes a proven nfl player the jets need to take a gamble once in awhile
