the rampant hatred towards the titans is silly imo. if you can't appreciate the past of your team, good or bad, then how can you truly be a fan of the team? I understand we're wearing the Titans unis a number of times this year, but that has probably more to do with the year (read anniversary) than anything. last year i think we wore it a bunch bc hte pattern and colors are closer to the packers to make it a touch easier on favre. personally i think they're nice. very simple and plain which is appealing. not that i don't like our current, but still. its part of the history of the team. for any other reason than simple history, which some teams have very little of, its cool by me. ~my $0.02.
I have both a Coles and Cotchery Titans jersey. I already had a Leon Washington green jersey so I went with Coles. Needless to say I won't be wearing that one any time soon...lol. I'll probably go out and get a Sanchez one eventually. I never buy the authentic ones though, way too much money.
i think they only added the titans jerseys and made the jets players wear them during the games just so they can sell more jerseys. becasue yo know all the "die-hards" will buy them.. i respect the titans of old but we arent the titans anymore. we are the JETS!
I bought a Titans jersey last year. It was on sale at Mo's for $20! They must have known something though because it was a T. Jones jersey.
If you are looking for a throwback, wait until they release the white Titans away jersey. The white looks better than the blue IMO
First of all, I do respect and love our team like non other, the past, the present and the future, but I can't say that I share the same feelings towards the likes of Rich Kotite and Doug Brien, altough they are a part of this team's past. And secondly, to stay on topic, we are the New York Jets, not the Titans of New York, and our colors are green and white, not navy blue and gold. By boycotting the Titans gear the team will realise that people don't buy them and they will stop wearing them in games. I know this is a special year as it is the 50th anniversary of the AFL, but they shouldn't use them every season IMO. BTW, even though the Titans and the Jets are considered to be the same team I don't honestly feel the same. The Titans period lasted only three years, from 1960 to 63, and the Titans didn't accomplish anything during that period of time, and when the team was sold they changed the name colours and the home stadium, so the palyers were the only ones who came along through this transition.
I like the Titans throwbacks. The patch looks sweetI will wait a while (September/October) before a get an "authentic"....wink....wink Sanchez Home and Throwback. Right now I have: "Authentic" Farve-Home Replica Rhodes-Home Replica Clemens-Home (It cost 15 bucks...it was either that or a Starbury jersey lol) The Jets are the Titans....so what's the big deal. I much prefer throwbacks than alternate jerseys. I mean alternates are just for cash. Throwbacks are history...albeit a crappy one, but history none the less.

Not real great jersey's but anything associated with my team i'm all for it. Have a Titans hooded sweatshirt & long sleeve shirt that i love. If your going for a Sanchez jersey i say you gotta get a home Jets jersey.
I was thinking that too. It would be nice to have the Green Sanchez. I am eventually going to get the Titans throwback, but I just can't decide between Revis and Sanchez. Ugh. I hate deciding on shit like this. lol.
I never liked the stupid Titans jerseys. I get the whole remembering our roots thing, but the Jets are associated with GREEN.
I wouldn't spend $80 on a Titans jersey. Just go with green/white, especially if it's a QBs. I bought a Pennington Titans Jersey but only because it was on clearance for $10 and I was already making an order so I didn't have to pay extra for shipping.
