TAKE THE BPA at each slot in the draft. We dont need to package anything. Just wait where we are and let the BPA drop to us. We need so much and everyone of our picks has importance. We cant afford to package anything and lose more players. AND WE NEED PLAYERS.

Bah I don't like it, if we want Cutler so much we can just trade down and still keep all our other picks while getting another one

I, for one, am not a believer in Brady Quinn! What makes you think he is such a G-D? He has had ONE good year, and all of a sudden he is next years top QB? Get a Cutler while we can, and worry about next year, NEXT year!

If you ask me I think it would make more sense to trade down and acquire Cutler and extra picks...Rather then trading up and limiting ourselves in picks in our first two rounds.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. If the Jets really feel that Cutler is the qb of the future for this franchise than I think it's a good idea. I did read somewhere that Woody Johnson was really pushing for Cutler. Mayock, and Jaworski both believe he is the best qb in the draft. I do respect Jaworski's opinion quite a bit

Somehow, I just don't like this. The kid Clemens from Oregon is a better QB than Cutler IMO, so why would we trade away a pick to move up to get Cutler. Somehow, this F/O doesn't give off the persona that it will be trading
UP or giving away picks at any juncture this year. Maybe in the future, but the next 2 to 3 years, look for them to stockpile picks in bunches if they can.

I agree with them and feel that he is the best QB in the draft. I would rather trade down to get Cutler and more picks, but I wouldn't be pissed off if we did it the other way.

jets45472 All I have to say is we better spend #4 on D'Brick or Cutler will be spending his entire career on his back.

Well atleast he's used to it from playing with that terrible OL in college and we know he can take a hit.

Although I would not be displeased with this trade you make an awesome point that should be noted.

I'll have to pass on this too. I really like where we are with our picks and I don't think any moves are necessary..........especially for Jay Cutler. I really hope this isn't true and if it is I hope Cutler is off the board as he should be before the 13th pick.

Do you actually want the jets to lose every game next year, because thats the only way we are getting our hands on Brady Quinn

I don't particularly like the trade though I should preface it by saying I think Cutler is overrated. If the Jets are that sold on Cutler, then its probably a trade you make.

Whatever Mike T decides to do Im gonna back him up. If he decides to trade #29 + #35 for Cutler b/c he thinks he's a franchise guy and he's the guy who will eventually put us over the top then I will support it

If Leinart is available at #4 you MUST grab him. If we trade down to #13 and Cutler is available you MUST grab him. Why? What IF, just what IF, one of these guys turns out to have a hall of fame career? Rememer what happend when passed up Dan Marino? Remember Brett Farve going 1 pick before us and he was the guy we wanted? How disgusted and sick would you be if we didn't pick Leinart or Cutler if they were there for the taking and either of them became a Super Star on the Raiders or Dolphins. Yup...a few years from now, everyone would be saying that we need to get rid of Tannenbaum and Mangini. The Draft is a crap shot. There are hits and misses. But, sometimes for a hit, ya gotta take the chance.

saying quinn is better is like saying brady is better than ramsey, its true.

but i do not want cutler. If we are going to take a qb, take one of the big two!!

plus, i doubt he will be there at 13, i tihnk the lions should snag him

Ngata will be gone by 12, some Browns high ranking guys said he would be more than thrilled if he was there. Only other pick would be Lawson, but Ngata is more likely. If the Cardinals don't take him, Cutler will be there at 14, and I only see them not taking Cutler if Davis is there or maybe Winston Justice.

I like Cutler, but I wouldn't do that deal. With the shape we are in, you can't give up two picks for one.
