It depends on who you listen to. Well after it was rumored the Ravens made that offer, I read that the Cards hadn't received any offers. A lot of these offers we read about now are just speculated offers from the media.

I don't really understand why they have lowered the price, Ravens were willing to give them the first and a player, and now they are asking for a 2nd and a player.

Ravens offer off the table now?

Watch the Pats come in and offer 2 second rounders...I wouldn't put it past them to package something.

Like I said, was that real or just speculation by the media? I've read that they didn't receive any offers.

Dammit, I'm gonna go vomit now at the thought of that.

It depends on who they want for the PTBNL, but by all means we should be all over this.

They only have about $4 million in cap space from what I just googled.

i think the late first might end up being the price, considering the amount of teams that will want him

Like I just wrote...i saw the report myself on replay on ESPN, and it was a "second round pick, and player or players to be named later"...not just a second...

    Here's the ESPN link.

Interesting. I know I'd rather have him than a draft pick as long as signing him to a contract wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Obviously proven guy. I wouldn't give up a 1 and a 3 pick as they originally requested, but this sure is tempting. I'll save you the "go get 'em Tanny" speech. By the way, I wonder if his good buddies call him Tanny?

How could you not give up a late 1st round pick? or any 1st round pick for him??? He is a proven WR in this league...you mean to tell me you'd rather take a chance on a guy from college who might not be good??? If the Cards would take just a 1st rounder, I'd be more than happy to give them our #17 straight up for Boldin. But I don't think that will happen...they want more.

if they can somehow manage this trade for boldin, drafting pettigrew actually makes sense. fixs the 2 biggest glaring needs on offense (aside from QB, which is still TBD what that situation is like)

That would be a heck of a deal. Boldin, Cotchery and Keller would be three excellent weapons for our young qb's.

I imagine at this price that Boldin is going to have a lot of say who he is traded to. He might not be interested in the Jets given the qb situation.

I wonder if he wants out of AZ so he can be a number 1 receiver somewhere else?

Get this done NOW. That solves our WR problem for the next 5 years.

And we still keep our #1 which is most important. This is a steal for one of the top 5 WR's in football.

Do you really think you're the only ones who realize what a steal this would be?

It's going to take a lot more than a mid-second round pick and Brad freaking Smith, folks. Let's be serious.
