It is called smoke screening the jets arent that stupid to trade out of 4. it would make no sense to trade to 7 cause we dont need a DT. They are just trying to get people out of their seats. that is just what i think. i think the draft kinda goes like this. #4: D'Brick #29: Justice #35: Croyle Jones isnt that good of a LT and D'Brick is tons better and Justice good out block jones at RT any day. i hope and think the OL will look like this LT: D'Brick LG: Kendall C:Teague RG: Moore RT: Justice What do you guys think?
well we could take McNeil or that guy from the Miami. If Justice isnt their at 29. i dont think he drops all the way to 35 tho.
If Ferguson is there at 4 and they take him then they move Jones back to the right side. It would be crazy to take 2 o yackles in the 1st rd. Look for the best d player at 29 maybe a corner or if one of the top backs is there they could go with him. Dont rule out Moss at 29 if available. At 35 its a sure thing they take Brodie Croyle.
Why would we draft a CB that high? Andre Dyson, Justin Miller, David Barrett, and Derrick Strait is a good enough dime package...
There is no way Justice is there at #29. He is most likely going in the top 15. Also, after the signing of Teague and Clement, there is absolutely no need to go with two OL with our both of our first round picks. That would be a complete waste of an opportunity to pick up some sort of playmaker.
I will be so angry if we take Croyle at 35. If we are going to draft a QB let it be at #4 or in the mid-rounds: 3 or 4.
I think they would take him either at 35 or try and trade up with their high 3rd rounder and a high 4th rounder to get into the second round and take him whever those picks lead. Hopefully Tangini see this guy as a potential franchise QB.
Because if there is a good one there Mangini needs him. Remember what happened in New England last year. His dbs went down like flies with injuries. I dont think he will want to be in that postion again. Remember i said best d player available. If you look at most boards you have about 3 corners at that 29 to 36 range. Are dbs are good but they are not sold on Strait. He has been a dissapointment so far.
I think I'm sick and tired of listening to yous guys talk about D'Brick. Why would anyone in their right mind draft a offensive lineman when you hold a pick in the top five? You go after a impact player and he is not it. The Dallas Cowboys of the 90's with their great line did not draft one of them in the first round. I hope the Jets brass are not that stupid to take a lineman. I can't wait til the draft and laugh at yous guys when they draft an real impact player.

I hope that D'Brick is not our pick. The dropoff between D'Brick and Justice, Winston, and McNeill is not as great as some make it seem. Having a top 5 pick in this year's draft can bring a potentially special playmaker to this team. Please don't waste it on OL.
Ever hear of Orlando Pace? Jonathan Ogden? Walter Jones? They were all early picks and they are impact players. AN "impact player" wont do anything if the d-linemen are in the backfield in a second. I dont want D'Brick but to say he isnt an impact player is dumb, linemen can be impact players. Look at our line last year, absolutely killed us.
Who would you rather have on your team, Ogden or Ray Lewis? Who is more of an impact player? Exactly.
