What an asshole. The guy is given an opportunity that other players can only dream about and he smokes weed before the combine.

He deserves to lose as much money as possible.

Awesome stuff. Let him drop. I was tired of the mocks having us take him and wasting our pick.

I didn't think it was possible that something would make me wish TBJF was not banned, but I would love to see him spinning this.

You know, I cringed when I saw the mock drafts projecting Percy Harvin to the Jets at 17. But honestly, if we hit well with number 17, and guys like Donald Brown, Gilbert, McCoy, Britt and Nicks are gone by our second round pick, I would be in favor of drafting Harvin there.

Yes, he's very similar to Leon, and I'd like to find a compliment to Leon rather than a clone. But frankly, a base line-up of Jerricho Cotchery, Dustin Keller, Percy Harvin, Moreno/Wells/Brown and Leon would terrify defensive coordinators for the next decade.

Honestly, I think he could very well succeed, and I wouldn't be completely opposed to our 2nd rounder going to him. Only moderately opposed. You won't see the above lineup, simply because you're forgetting to insert a #2 receiver. Harvin isn't going to be a #2 in this league. We'd have to spend another draft pick on someone like Louis Murphy in the 3rd, which means 2 of our first 3 picks going to the receiver position. We're in the wrong position to be considering Harvin from a depth perspective.

    Wish granted.

Come on guys!!!! Who hasnt smoked a j with his boys i no i have!!! This doesnt mean anything. U r all forgetting just how explosove this guy is. He is a WR. U dont find WRs that r this explosove every day and trust me bc im a FSU fan who luvs Harvin. I would get down on my knees in front of him and let him get explosove in my mouth. That's how we do in the burgggggg. Ima hit the studio wit ma boys today and drop sum tracks about my boy. U just watch. Hes gona roll up to Florum Park with a fat blunt hanging out of his mouth after we make him 17 and u will all have to eat crow.

    I mean, look at this:

    QB: Clemens/Ratliff/Ainge????????
    RB: Leon/TJ/Shunn Green
    WR: Cotchery
    WR2: Harvin!!!!!!
    WR3: Stuckey
    TE: Keller

We do this........and you know what? We have a SB in 5 years. Maybe 6. It depends on how long it takes Harvin to develop, but I believe he will be a top 5 receiver in just 6 short years. Maybe 5 if we r lucky. Im getting hard just thinking about it. Getting a Percy Hardon hahaha Luv these jets. Luv that grams!!!!!! Go phins!!!! Hahaha j/k

Had you listed off the offense with Harvin in it, and throw in a "...and you know what?" in there somewhere that would've been perfect.

    Gold.

Anyway, this is just stupid. He knew the date of the combine weeks beforehand, how hard would it have been to not smoke weed for a while?

I am ok with us drafting Harvin as long as Shaun Ellis reads the card.

Good, now hopefully we steer clear of him on draft day. Wouldn't mind taking him if he fell to the 2nd, but I highly doubt he takes that kind of a fall.

Then again Justin King took a huge fall last year from borderline 1st rounder projected to go to the Giants to the 4th round.

Who cares... I would love to have this kid first round at the #17 pick. You can't argue with production. O.J. is a murderer, Plaxico shot himeslf, and Mike Vick was fighting and murdering pitt bulls. You all want to criticize this kid for doing something that doesn't affect his play or anyone around him in a negative fashion?

Now maybe he will slip to our second round pick.

And maybe Raji will slip to us at #17.
