Didn't see a thread about this, cover story in today's NY Post:

Brady's lucky this happened in Costa Rica, considering Plaxico Burress is probably getting time for shooting himself by accident.

I can't stand Brady, but I also can't stand paparazzi. Shooting at those guys was taking it too far, but if the article had said Brady's goons had given the cameramen a beating, I would've thought it was great. The paprazzi is definitely one of the reasons I never played professional football or married a supermodel.

He should have aimed a little to the right.

Fuck the paps. Invasive bitches deserved it. They were in Costa Rica, not the US, so they probably can't just go doing what the want.

Holy shit...if youre now hearing Tom Bradys name involved with some type of shooting the world is getting even more fucked up. Heres a question though...If its any other player in the league does this incident then require a trip to NY to see the Comish? I say probably.

It's not like Brady shot at the guy. Sounds like one of the guys he hired for security made a very bad decision. I don't think that should be grounds for suspension no matter who the player is.

    READ THE ARTICLE.

    They were in Costa Rica.

So any rational person would say no.

I gotta agree 100%. The whole paparazoo crap disgusts the hell out of me. It is sad that we have a market for this sort of shit. Nobody, no matter how famous deserves or warrants having a camera lens up their ass day in and day out.

I say yes. How can the Commish overlook this if he is going to be consistent and fair about guns and NFL players? Wasn't the league concerned about what Pacman's posse did when he was with them?

Unfortunately, Brady is the NFL's golden boy and nothing will be said about this by the top NFL brass. He's too valuable of a commodity to damage.

Ok, explain how its going to be investigated when it occurred outside the boundaries of US law, on foreign soil? I doubt very much anything is being made of it in Costa Rica. Shit like this would happen in Panama, and it didn't cost much to bribe their cops. I can't imagine Costa Rica being much different.

Doesn't the league have the power to say something? How about, "Hey Tom, we don't like our players having gun-related incidents. We are fining you." These clowns shot at these photographers and could have killed them. Should the NFL just pretend like that didn't happen, just because he was in Costa Rica?

And how about this little tidbit:

<The New England Patriot quarterback's best man berated the photographers and wanted to provoke a brawl, the lensmen said.

"Take a picture of me now, you f- - -er! F- - - you," Brady's righthand man, whose name was not immediately known, screamed, according to Aviles.>

He'd appeal, or get an arbitrator... somehow the players union would step in place and help Tom out... because unless they can prove there was an issue - it didn't happen. You can't just take a reported incident that is believed to have happened and fine someone. That is why they always wait for the outcome of US investigations against players - so they can know for certain if their is guilt... which makes it easier for them to fine people, or reprimand them.

If you read the story you'd know it was Giselle's security that supposedly shot at these guys, and her family's property. Of course it's scummy papparazzi word against her security.

Don't know how you'd connect that to Tom, unless you have proof he told someone to shoot reporters.

Of course this is the story we're getting from the scummy papparazzi who were trespassing on private property. If it was my best friend's wedding and some asshole trespassed, I'd think seriously about kicking their ass too.

Jeez if only somebody would do that with you.....

As for Brady I don't care if it's his goons or not, this goes back to what I was saying about idiots and guns. Just imagine had these guys misfired and one of the stray bullets hit Giselle or a guest?

You can't really put that on Brady; sounds like he just had some overzealous bodyguards who crossed the line. I really couldn't give two shits about the paps though.
