    Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Ochocinco

A year after turning down a trade that could have netted two first-round picks for the receiver then known as Chad Johnson, Bengals owner Mike Brown could be laying the groundwork to trade Ochocinco for much less this year. The Bengals have reportedly had highly regarded Missouri wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in for a workout recently. That said, two sources who have spoken to Brown said he would be willing to deal Ochocinco ? and two others said he won?t. What could turn the tide toward a trade is that while Ochocinco has been much quieter than last offseason, he still wants out. Ochocinco hasn?t shown up for offseason workouts. That follows his decision to not have surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder, something the Bengals wanted him to do. Throw in the fact that at least two people who know Ochocinco have told the team that his competitive spirit to play for the Bengals has basically burned out, and you get the picture. One source even told quarterback Carson Palmer in March that a deal of Ochocinco could be coming before the draft.

He is as good at any receiver we have and for a 3rd round pick which usually is a bust we could have a guy for two years, buit would you want him if he came cheap?

    I say yes

If randy Moss was gotten for a fourth then why noy Chad for a fourth or fith round rick?

For a fourth or a fifth i would absolutely take a chance on Chad. He is a proven talent in this league and a change of scenery would do him a ton of good i feel like.

I would still rather have Boldin though...

    why the Bengals suck.........

that being said I would definitely hope the JETS offer a 3rd (or less) for Ocho Stinko. The guy's a nutjob, but he can play

with low investment, they have the ability to pack his bags if he gets out of line.

One of the biggest blunders in NFL history is the Bengals turning down two #1 picks for him, they should be banned from the NFL for stupidity for that non move.

I'm not a big fan of Ocho Cinco anymore, for a late round pick sure I would take a chance but I doubt the Bengals get rid of him for anything less than a 3rd.

For a late pick, definitely worth a chance.

He's got a torn rotator cuff, he just turned 30, he's coming off the worst season of his career where he looked worse than ordinary and his hands have bever been the best anyway. And his mouth is completely out of control.

I'll pass on him. The last thing the Jets need is to become even more of a circus than they've been in the last few years.

Yes indeed line up him and Cotchery and Clowney and you have a legitimate 3 wide with Keller at TE. Targets for any QB.

    +1

There are maybe 2 receivers in the league you turn down that trade for. 85 isn't one of them.

I would give a mid round pick for Chad Johnson. He's an idiot but he's not like TO. He's more funny then he is a team cancer in my opinion. So for the right price if I didnt have a number 1 WR? Sure.

I'd do it for a 4th rounder in a heartbeat.

Will there ever come a time when some nutjob, convict, headcase, malcontent, etc. will hit the open market and a thread WON"T be started about acquiring him?

Chad Johnson for a 4th round pick would be a steal.

I'd go as high as a 4th rounder for him. He is still one of the fastest guys in the league. He just needs a new start IMO. That franchise makes ours look like the model of stability.

I would give up a 3rd or 4th for Johnson and draft Jackson with our 1st and Gilbert with our 2nd. Fill O-line lack of dept issues with remaining picks. That would give us two very good DEs and we'll have our WR issue solved including dept for O-line. I think that would be a pretty good draft for us. The defense would pretty much complete with the exception of Jenkins heir. We could have open competition at DE and the best player plays.

I agree, he would be a big, faster, high jumping target for Brett #2.

Abso-freakin-lutely! I was pissed when we traded up to get Moss in the 01 draft. I wanted Chad Johnson instead. So I would be happy getting chad.

I would give a fourth; same thing the Pats gave up for Moss.

    I don't think he's worth a 4th... a 5th definitely... and we don't have a 4th anyway so... definitely not a 3rd...
