Keyshawn did well here. Moss is doing decent in WAS but nothing truly amazing. Had a good year last year.

    Al Toon in 1985
Lam Jones in 1980 (great pick if you ask me, he just missed the HOF)

dont use anything from past jet teams to find out what to do

jet teams in the last 40 years have been nfg

jan 1983 jets get to conference championship game and lose to the dolphins

a week later head coach michaels is fired

the only time our fo was good was when parcells was here----and even he couldnt draft

he brought in vinny as a fa----and traded for curtis martin and we had a good team

No one can nail all the picks. S. Ellis is fine, J. Abraham is one of the best pass rushers in the league... Chad P would've been worth the pick if he wasn't a china doll (no one can predict that, that's just bad luck)....

    4 108 Jerricho Cotchery
    3 78 Laveranues Coles

    7 217 Curtis Ceaser
    2 41 Ryan Yarborough
    4 117 Orlando Parker
    5 129 Kenny Shedd
    11 293 Eric Boles

Keyshawn was definitely a success. He played here for 4 seasons and had 4 very productive years and when we traded him we ended up with two first round picks in return. Seems pretty successful to me.

    Jets # 1 WRs

Keyshawn was never worth the # 1 over all pick or the picks Tampa Bay gave up for him. A good but never more than a tall possesion WR.

Al Toon was a great WR for the Jets, an all time Jets great, but he is paying for all those trips across the middle these days. He will always be remembered as the guy we took instead of Jerry Rice

Moss was actually a good WR but Chad could never get him the ball deep. And for some reason seemed to only have heart and courage once he left NY.

Johnny Lam Jones is now a punchline.

And not to forget Rob Moore taken in the supplemental draft. He made one pro bowl and was traded to AZ. Decent but not that good, sad to say

thats over 40 years, and there are teams that would have the same percentage.

43 WRs in 43+ years drafted by the Jets.

With the exception of a few most of those guys were pretty low round picks. What that demonstrates to me is that the Jets never have made WR a high priority in the upper rounds.
