I wonder if its his fault, or the rest of the team as to the falloff in his production? Looks like somebody is going to find out, and I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him, if the price is right.

Thought I read that his brother plays for Carolina. Likely landing spot.

Let's not forget our WR coach worked for 8 years in St. Louis... i would be open to him coming here.

If it's not more than 3 million a year then for sure do it. He still has some gas left imo. It's not his fault the Rams sucked last year. He could at least be a 1 year stop gap until our 1st round WR from this year would get better. (Or he could teach our younger guys anyway.)

Maybe this means Michael Crabtree is a real possibility at #2...

Hmmm... There are a number of teams that could sign him. Jets included...

i'd actually sign him... his knowledge alone is valuable for the young receivers.

Holt is still a great receiver with deceptive speed. The Rams were a train wreck last year. He's going sign with someone who's going to pay him well and someone will. Would be interesting playing next to the person that broke your college records.

I wouldn't mind him at all in a jet uniform. all this guy ever does is produce year after year after year like Marvin Harrison did until age caught up to him

Didn't Holt say last offseason that he'd like to finish his career with the Panthers?

he's from North Carolina so I can see why he'd want to stay close to home and play there.

ok I totally hate all the "let's sign this guy" threads, but seriously, the jets should REALLY sign torry holt. He would come cheap and i think he's still got a good amount left in the tank.

    Tory Holt wants his release...

I did not see this here, sorry if it was already started.

I'd take Holt over T.O. any day, do you think he could be obtained for close to what we would have paid Coles this year?
