They predicted the same thing last year and we all know how that ended. It will be worse this year.

Oh, and the Jets haven't had a QB in about 6 years or a #1 receiver since Keyshawn. Still they make the playoffs more often then they don't and they have done that without any defense at all for the last 7 or 8 years.

How can it be worse, we lost Tom Brady on the 12th play of the season. He's back fully motivated and UNBELIEVABLY MOTIVATED. He is ready to tear up the league, and he has said as much.

It's lights out for the AFC and the rest of the league.

Peppers will soon be in the fold, it's in the works.

Please trot out Ratliff or the other joker with no #1 WR, how in the world do you think you can be competitive with even the Fins ?

Stop being concerned about the Pats and worry about the Jets. That's the problem with most Jet fans, they're always talking about the pats. We are two different teams and are not run the same way, so you can't expect success if every other year you're changing the team. Let the new coach do what he does best and stop crying about the Pats. Everyone is still crying about the qb, but you or anyone else doesn't know what they can do. Look at the Pats, they kept what they had and gave their backups a chance to prove themselves and they did. Let's see what happens with the qbs we have, we might have a good one. And remember what the Ravens do every year with a so-so qb and a top ten defense.

his mentality is respectable and that's exactly how he should feel.... but the knee doesn't have a brain, its biomechanical. If it doesn't want to come back equally to as strong as Brady is feeling, its not going to bode well.

They thought C-Pep was going to be fine after the same injury. I like your choice of words...

that's why I love the fact that the Jets went away from the Pats vs Jets bullshit and got Ryan.

its nice to pick the exceptions, but E. Manning played well in that total upset. That seems to be forgotten. Plus the unbelievable play to set up the win.

those two SB wins are the only two wins without a big time QB in the last 20 years, and its happened maybe 5 times in 43 SBs.

Number of SB's won by the Patriots with highly drafted QB = 0

Maybe you should change the sign the guy is holding in your avatar to "Please slit my throat"

What the hell is wrong with you?! We made some nice moves in FA and you're already to deep throat a shotgun?

I'm a reported "darksider" as well, but will at least wait for the season to start before doom and gloom comes. So far we are a better team NOW than we were last year...and to me, that's progress.

Every team have holes. Some players, unexpected, fill those holes, other percieved strengths may prove not to be. It will not be known until the team takes the field.

rofl, let the Pats grab Peppers, he's not a 3-4 DE. Although knowing BB he will turn Peppers into the greatest thing ever.

This post is way too pessimistic and sort of one-sided.

It's really too bad the Patriots don't have some holes of their own to fill and are completely untouchable

Oh sure, let's give a a dude who was lined up in a 4-point stance his entire career some pass responsibilities being that OLB in a 3-4 do not rush the passer every play.

To be fair, the Pats did draft Irving Fryar #1 and Tony Eason #15 overall and they got the Pats to the Super Bowl. Against the Bears. Can't remember how that game turned out . . .
