I would not call them nuts. Not that I would ever do want to do such a trade but they are asking much less than the value the draft value chart prescribes when you consider a 2nd and 3rd in next years draft is valued the same a 3rd and 4th this year.

    Doing the math

    1. Number 1 pick 3,000

    Our picks:

    1. Number 4 1800
    2. Number 29 640
    3. High 2nd round 2007 250
    4. High 3rd round 2007 100
    Total 2790

If thats their offer it looks pretty reasonable. Although again I am not an advocate of trading up.

I know it sounds like a lot, but is it? I mean, I know the jets don't want to give up 4-5 of the most amazing 1st day players they will likely draft becuase they have such a great history with that, for just Bush.

I mean, no team in the NBA would've ever given up a whole draft for Michael Jordan right? Pass on that.

Did you even watch that game? White went untouched up the middle time and time again. 8+ yards a carry for the season, great receiver, GREAT character, much stronger and tougher than his size would indicate, Bush is a monster.

Been a Die-Hard Jets Fan my entire life. Can some Jets' Fan please get me the 411 on the last time the NYJ selected a QB in the draft after the 1st round and making an impact. I read a lot on this board and I see Clemens, Croyle, Jacobs, please spare me.......Its been over 30 years, that Psychology just does not work for the GangGreen.
I hope the Jets don't trade down for more picks. Aren't you guys as die hard fans sick of mediocrity. Lets draft a playmaker please!!!!! We're in a nice position to draft a Mario Williams, Vernon Davis, Leinart, VY!!! Maybe the new regime will be different.......I am praying!!

Thinking back over my life - I think it?s entirely possible that I have paid more for Bush. It however is seldom worth it.

I read the article this morning and thought the same thing. We have too many needs (quality AND quantity) to be throwing around 4 draft picks for Bush or anyone. No one in their right mind is going to do this.

what's that one guy got against Mario...the name might bother you, but what he's going to do on the football field during his career is going to be insane, considering his size, speed, work ethic, and age? he JUST turned 21 a few months ago...

if we draft croyle at the top of the 2nd round we'll be reaching big time. He's got a 3rd/4th round grade. He's small, has no arm, and is prone to injuries, no more talk about Cryole please.

    Thanks.

The NFL and NBA are completely different. The NFL you field 52 players and start 22 of them... while in the NBA you field 12 and start 5. One great player has much greater of an impact in the NBA then in the NFL because you don't have as many players. If you want to be a successful team in the NFL you need to pull more then one starter out of the draft (3 would be a good number) while in the NBA if you pull one starter out of the draft you had a great draft.

If you have only 2 great players in the NBA your team will be good and likely make the playoffs while if you have only 2 great players in the NFL your team will go 1-15. See the difference?

Your right about him being a reach at 35... but he's a 2nd/3rd borderline type prospect, he has a very strong arm, and he has amazing accuracy inside of 15 yards (after that it starts to get a little erratic). I'd love to get Croyle at 71.

Yeah you're right, he does have a strong arm -- my bad there. However, I dont' want another injury risk.

White is the complete back size power speed = sucess look at the rose bowl 3 tds to Bushes 1 . Point Blank hands down White is better he carried USC White
