Vilma and Hawk = No where to run

    Because you do not draft middle linebackers that high. GB would be wrong too.

    This team needs OFFENSE.

    I know this is crazy and irresponsible, but screw our offense. We'll cobble something together for now. I want defense for our first 4 picks. I want a monster defense, just for the hell of it :breakdance:

    As nasty as Hawk is, drafting a 3-4 ILB at #4 is an absolute luxury pick (more so than Vernon Davis would be). If they were staying in an predominant 4-3 D, I'd be more in favor of Hawk since a Vilma, Hawk, Barton trio would be amazing.

    theres plenty of cbs to be had in the 3rd and 4th rounds, the jets do not need a front 7 player more than they need an offensive playmaker

    Hawk will be a star in this league, but I would def take Mario over him if both are available at 4.

    If Bush, Williamsand Davis are all off the board and we choose Hawk over Brick (we have to) and Leinert, I'dhave no problem wit that. we want a surething . Hawk is a safer pick than Brick.
