    PFT:

… the Ravens have offered Lewis a three-year, $24 million contract with $17 million guaranteed. Scott’s offer has an annual average of $7 million, and more years.

Looks like it will take 8mil a year to get Scott, obviously overpaid, but do you think he's worth it? I would say yes just because of our situation with Rex and how beneficial his play and attitiude could help this team right away.

yea heard the same, the offer for Lewis seems very fair, he should and probably will go back. While Scott seems to be on his way out

I wouldn't say obviously overpaid. I'd say that sounds just about right for a FA contract this year for a top flight LB.

With all the money we freed up any chance we'd sign both? I'm generally not this naive but is it really out of the question?

Sounds like the deal was 5 years, $37.5 million that he pushed back for the Ravens.

Technically, no. Practically, yes. It would take about $17 - 18 million according to what Baltimore is offering, and if we signed one, the offer for the other could increase. It would immediately drain our available cap space for decent FAs.

David Harris is still on the team. I'd like us to sign Scott, I want no part of Ray Lewis.
