what you have just suggested is not really upside. and if it is upside, that upside you have suggested is not worth the price tag ray lewis is going to come with. I'm sure there are some other more in depth positives to Ray Lewis rather than "he's a great player".

Gee, thanks for the enlightenment, we had no idea about these things. (shakes head) Adam Schefter was on WFAN with Joe and Kim and mentioned that the Jets may be looking at Lewis for 3 years with 25 million guaranteed. This seems like pure speculation to me and at no point did he mention that it came from a source as far as I know. I just can't see the organization guaranteeing such a large contract to an aging player especially after the failed Favre Experiment.
