I honestly wouldn't want either of them. I don't think either of them is going to be worth the money. Warner probably wouldn't be as effective in a run heavy O, especially one that plays on the east coast in one of the windier stadiums. As for Housh, I'm not sold he's #1 WR material. No matter what Johnson did last season, he always commanded more attention than Housh. Unfortunately, we won't have anyone across from him that will command that kind of attention, unless Stuckey / Clowny really develops.
The Jets need a speedy WR, preferably with some height, to spread the field. Housh is a possession receiver that will cost a lot of money. I still think Cotchery can capably fill that role just as well. A veteran QB definitely needs to be signed, in case Keller and Ratliff aren't ready. Warner will cost too much and I don't think he fits in well with a cold weather Northeast team. I'd like to see the Jets sign Jeff Garcia. He's nothing great but I think he's capable of managing a playoff contending team.
First off, don't make a post about a guy unless you can spell his name right. It's Houshmandzadeh. This is just another silly post. The Jets will not get either of these players. Warner, while a better option than Favre was last year, is not coming to the Jets. He wants top 5 QB money and he doesn't want to learn a new system. He will agree with the Cardinals or retire. Houshmandzadeh, while slightly better than Coles, is about the same age. Don't need any 31 year old wide receivers. The Jets need an impact receiver. They will go with Clowney, Cotchery, etc... And they will draft a CB or WR, whichever is better value at 1.17.
Warner is a horrible fit for the Jets. The Jets should got with a strong armed QB who can grow with this team. Warner is an old QB who doesnt like cold weather. Why bring him here? As for Housh he is a good player, but not great. The Jets need to go out and get somebdoy that can be an impact player for them at WR.
